I don't want to get too hot take-y here but...... this is the best VR game I've ever played. At least as far as narrative-driven ones go. Even better than Alyx. At it's core, it's a puzzle solving adventure game, but with a lot of care taken so the puzzles are great for VR.
The premise is fantastic: you start in an apocalyptic future caused by someone travelling to pivotal moments in time and altering events. So you have to travel behind them and set things right. (Think Quantum Leap for all you 80s people.)
The narrative sounds fine for a game but for VR... it's so fantastic to suddenly appear in historically significant events and live that out. Such an awesome VR premise. There are 5 primary moments, as well as 2 main "home base" settings, all of which are beautifully rendered in Unreal. It's triple A quality.
Most of the puzzles involve using items from one era or another in another era, so you're bouncing back and forth using hi-tech solutions to low tech problems... or vice versa. It has a generous hint system if you want it, but everything is very intuitive. Most difficulty is honestly just keeping track of where and *when* (cuz, time travel, you know) you left some random doohickey.
All the systems work really well together, and just every aspect seems so well polished for VR. I cannot recommend it more highly.

Escape room style puzzles + time travel + excellent sound and graphic design + compelling narrative = a fun VR experience
I didn't find the watch character as annoying as some people seemed to

6.5-7/10. Get on sale.
Shame its not higher but its buggy as hell. I had to restart chapters 6 times even while playing in 2023, after all these fixes. Either ground ate items, i got teleported in who knows where and couldn't proceed or some random shit was going on. Like half of problems would be solved with proper inventory, but yea another vr dev that goes "who needs inventory, player should keep track of over 9000 items in virtual world. You forgot where you placed? Like we give a shit"
Ah also NPC's animations are half life 1 era.

Polished, well made, good graphics and story. Can't expect more from a puzzle game. One of the best vr game I have played.

A must play if you have VR. What an amazing story and I loved all the different locations! Be mindful where you store things because if you misplace or lose items it will cause some headaches tracking them down! Some of the puzzles have no business being as hard as they are but with the help of some online guides I managed to get through them. It took some practice to get the hang of the light bulb puzzles but after you get the hang of it they're a bit of a breeze really. I really hope to see a sequel from this developer and I look forward to looking into what else they've worked on. Great job to the developers of this game! I had an amazing time playing!!

I enjoyed this game a lot, it was one of the first VR games that I played on PCVR.
The good:
The graphics were decent and movement was good. The environments were interesting and varied and the puzzles were for the most part the right level of challenging, there were a few tricky ones and some easier ones to mix it up. The story was engaging and fun and I'm looking forward to playing the sequel when it comes out.
The not so good:
There was some jank with interacting with objects, it could be difficult to grab smaller items sometimes due to the hands grabbing a drawer or something larger that was close. The most disappointing part was the drum section, that was one of the sections I was most looking forward to but I could not make it work no matter what I did and ended up just waving my hands as fast as I could to hit targets to pass the level. Hopefully they fix these issues in the remake

Fabulous game. One of the best VR experiences I've had. I have to say that the beginning is janky, slow and put me off. I nearly uninstalled within the first hour or so because I was bored. BUT once you reach the first proper location and the puzzles and proper narrative kick in - this is fabulous. It's a good length as well - especially for an earlier VR game. I hope this gets the attention it deserves once they reissue it on the Quest. Looking forward to the sequel. Thank you for the developers for putting this together.
The closest comparison I can think of is that this is almost like Myst (but not as hard). Its a puzzle game hiding inside of travelling game. If you remember in older games like Monkey Island of Day of the tentacle, you had to find objects in one zone that you could use in another. The same principle applies here - but in a very unique way!
I would also suggest not watching the trailer - part of the fun is the surprises along the way!
