I do enjoy the game, it has some things that needs to be fixed but I still do recommend the game and it will just become better with time. (This is what I think)
So if you are okay with playing an EA (Early Access) game, as you know they might have some bugs/issues and not be top-notch state, then go a head and get it now.
If not, I would say to wait until they fix a few more things.

Boost performance (for people without DLSS or Intel cards)
I'm getting 66 to 75fps steady.
1440p
1080 Ti
i7 6850K
Settings: Medium (shadows and reflections: Low)
Anti-Aliasting/Upscaling Method: FSR
FidelityFX Frame Generation: ON
FidelityFX Super Resolution: "Balanced"
Play with your settings! I was only getting 40fps until I changed literally two things!
edit: idk what it is, but
Changed my overall quality to Epic, but I turned shadows and post processing to Low and ended up gaining about 10fps or more.

- It'll take you about 100 hours to get all the quests done. (No side quests yet)
- Most enjoyable with a RTX 4000 series card. (Dont forget a decent CPU, it'll help)
- Learning curve is OK. Don't expect you'll understand everything after a couple hours playing. You'll need at least 10 hours of questing, killing, DYING, losing gear, to figure out how it all works.
- Like it's been said is MULTIPLE videos and posts from MFG, the game is not PvP oriented as much as other extraction FPS games. PvE is the way to go for the first 25-50hours, simply because going PvP you'll need a nice foundation or skill/experience to enjoy it at least a little. Just understand you'll DIE and LOSE your gear in the process and you'll be fine !
You can always ask for help at base. People like me that are done with the quests and still play WILL help gadly. Weither with questing, giving away gear or money to help start back so you can enjoy the game even though you lost everything.
Best is to understand this is not a finished version. Pick Tarkov as an example, it's fine. But Tarkov is almost 10 years old and STILL on Beta phase.
I personnally played on release and haven't stopped since.
The game is great is you give it a chance, just don't expect it to be perfect !
On release: 3/10

Sim shooter for a more casual player base. Been running a duo with a buddy and its been a good time. Also a PvE only mode for the people looking to play without the looming threat of Chris Kyle chilling in the next zip code ready to ventilate your eye sockets.

Buggy, Unoptimized, Crashing, Losing stuff randomly? Yes.
Is it still fun, have a good start for early access, and have promise? Yes.

Good game so far, the foundation is solid but does of course feel very early access which isn’t a surprise. The medical system is my favourite out of all these kinds of games I’ve played so far and I’m enjoying the open world and freedom this game has to offer.
I run this game on 1440p with a 3080ti and a i9 10900k, following the recommended setting on their discord announcements I’ve been getting around 90-140fps. When entering new areas it drops a lot but evens out shortly after.
I’ve only played solo for now and have been having a blast with it so far.
If you like these types of games and don’t mind dealing with some lag, stutters, bugs and some questionable AI then I’m sure you will enjoy this one especially with friends. I hope the devs continue the development of this game as it does have potential.
