A somber kinetic novel about love and heartbreak.
The art is lovely with simple cute designs, soft lines and pastel colours. There is only one soundtrack, but it suffices throughout the entire story and fits very well with the mood.
Choices, while present, only change the dialogue minimally while the outcome remains the same. The story feels well written and realistic from the development of the relationship to the way it ended as well as the implied depression of the point of view character.
I have one small gripe and that is with the settings options or rather the lack thereof. Though it wasn’t particularly troublesome it would have still been nice to have the option to speed up the text.
Aside from that this visual novel is a short and poignant read as well as a wonderful and emotional experience that I definitely recommend.

I really liked the Artstyle and the music.
The whole game took me around 1.3 hours to finish. There are seven achievements in total, they are storybased so you wont miss them.
The game is nice and freee, so try it out!

A free visual novel - What's not to love?
"Memories" is a solid 9/10 game with a simple but emotionally tragic love story. It's really light on the 'gameplay', more akin to watching a short film than even most other visual novels (as far as I am aware, it has a completely linear narrative in that the options do not change the progression at all), but I still enjoy that aspect.
With a playtime of approximately 30 minutes, it's a great one to play on a lunch break or while waiting for something else to download (as I did) - Just ensure you won't have any potential interruptions for that time frame, due to an aspect which I will touch on next.
The only minor issues I have are technical - I wish there was a way to adjust text speed since I'm a rather fast reader, and also a save function would be good, as this game does not currently have a means by which to let you pause and resume mid-story.
Overall, I would definitely recommend playing this!

this had me BAWLING by the end of the playthrough... give it a play! it's short, sweet, and conveys the reality that unfortunately many people in the LGBTQ+ community face. the artstyle and aesthetic is really cute, and the lack of showing the characters' faces makes each scene hit harder. give it a play if youre in the feels one night!! its a great game

I'm upset Steam doesn't have an in between for reviews
The story was great but the game play was underwhelming and it felt like watching a really draining movie that you need to sit down in a white room with white noise in order to feel like a human instead of a shell
The pace of the text is annoying and most of my time playing was just waiting for the text to be finished when I've been done reading for 3 minutes the music is okay but it sounds like it should be a 1 minute appearance AT MOST
This game was really interesting but probably should have been a short story on Tumblr or something
