Project Vic
You work as a freelance reporter. Late one evening, you are sitting at your tablet while the news reports on a death at a nearby estate. Shortly afterwards, a police officer friend calls you and tells you that the investigation into the case is closed for the moment and the crime scene is unguarded. You immediately set off to write the story of your life.
You grab your equipment and drive to a forest parking lot near the crime scene. There you find the first clues that the extent of this family tragedy appears to be far greater than you first suspected.
Features:
- Explore spooky locations to find a way to the family estate
- Gather information about the Hastings family
- Capture supernatural events with your camera to make your report more vivid

Not the Citizen Kane of indie horror, but has it's fair share of jump scares and spooks. The photo mechanic is a nice twist on things. The environments are pretty sparse and bland, but the game has no pretences of being anything other than what it is. It's not great, but it's not terrible.

Like the previous games from this Dev it has the basis of a good game, it just doesn't quite get there. It isn't very sophisticated, most objects can't be manipulated, so no opening drawers or cupboards, they are static objects. Also there is a lot of walking about to find very few objects that can be used. My main gripe is that the walking speed is very slow, pressing left shift just moves walking speed to slow. I have no sense of direction so being lost in a forest with the speed I can move around at is painful.
Having said that, the atmosphere is good, a few good jump scares, some puzzles to solve, lots to explore. It has a few hours of gameplay so is worth the price.
