I had a good few hours of fun playing Kittypocalypse - Ungoogled. The first few levels are easy, the middle couple of levels get tough, but the last levels are easy since most of the weaponsa are unlocked by that time. Nothing too complicated, just the right dose of hectic action and management.
The only thing that's REALLY bothering me is that some of the achievements are bugged! As a completionist, this is annoying as hell. Hopefully the devs will iron this out! I can't wait to stream this game once it's fixed!
A few other thoughts:
1) There is a lot of potential for Kitty humor in this game. Maybe hire a writer to work in some jokes - or ask the community for a few one-liners.
2) Modding - it would be awesome if users could make their own maps
3) Have a few more voice over options like 'new wave arriving'

A simple yet fun TD game. While the price seems a little steep for what it is, the graphics are solid and the game play can be challenging. I made it through the Normal (difficulty setting 2 of 3) campaign with only having to redo a few maps no more than 3-4 attempts before beating all 15 levels in the campaign.
Since then I've now been trying it on the Hard (3 of 3 difficulty) setting and it isn't kidding. Once I got to levels 5-6 I've had to spend a good chunk of time trying to figure out the perfect combination of weapon types and placements to barely beat the levels.
Figured for my last play through I'm going to attempt to get all the side objectives completed so I can achieve a perfect playthrough run. I'm going to attempt this on Normal since Hard is too hard to win with minimal weapons/slots used (at least for me).
This is my guilty pleasure game for the time being. I can sit and watch tv while playing this at the same time to pass by the hours.
**update 3/28/17** I found a hiddenish level when I went into "Skirmish". It was pure chaos and I would always fall apart in the 30th round. Finally overcame it though. Game now beat on every difficulty and every map. #GG
Pros:
-great graphics
-challenging if you want it to be
-blasting away wave after wave of cute fuzzy kittens
cons:
-wish they'd add more levels so there wasn't just 16.
-I would love to have manual turret control. Sometimes the ones you assume would get gunned down seem to just stroll right on by and never get acknowledged.
-there's a weird turret moment where the Gattling just pauses for a moment if a kitten they're shooting at makes it into the checkpoint. And if you're under heavy a seige a pause for even a second can end you.
9/10 (hoping they add more levels)

Ungoggled is where it's at, if you want to be able to concentrate. I love the VR too, but I'm just super happy with this game. The depth is good, not overwhelming. Lots of fun.

This was a fun, and adorable tower defense game. The graphics were pretty, I spent some time just looking at the map or background. The cats were soo delightful that, at times, I felt bad killing them (loved all the different variations of them). This game can definitely get frustrating if you get stuck on a level and can't seem to get past it, and there seems to be no guide at all online. I was only able to find one youtuber who did a whole play through of the game (Skye Storme). They helped me out bigtime so Thank you if you happen to read this! But overall, a good tower defense game, these games are almost always enjoyable.

Overview
A solid and amusing tower defence game which provides some entertainment but in the end fails to deliver anything spectacular to allow it to rise of the countless other TD titles out there.
Also the developers releasing this game for both VR and none VR as seperate games is kinda shady and will no doubt anger some people who own this version and get a VR headset in the future, but that off course doesn't effect the game quality.
All in all, not a bad game but there's better alternatives out there for tower defence fans.
Pro's and con's
+ The graphics are quite good for this type of game
+ The higher difficulties offer some some real challenge
+ Kitties are cute
- Having to murder kitties
- The campaign is pretty short
- The campaign tries to tell a story but your story objectives don't get reflected in the actual missions
- Not much tower variety
Overall Score
6/10

Super fun tower defense game! I love it! Have been waiting for this port to non-vr because although I have played games in VR, I'd like to sit back and relax and smoke a cigar while playing tower defense.
The camera needs to be addressed though. Here is my suggestion:
At the beginning of the level (before starting), move the camera smoothly from to a nice overview position in the level, where you can see all the tower-points and the path.
This will give the user the nice starting view (like in VR), but its nice if you dont have to manually move the cam to get some overview.
At the completion of the level (after ending), move the camera automatically smoothly from to a nice position where you can see the level and the fireworks.
So the player can enjoy his/her victory even more, without having to manually move the cam to see the fireworks.

Finally a good alternative to Tower Wars, pitty they never followed up on that one
Does get a bit annoying with the layouts blocking weaponry's view and little kitties no selling damage.
Once you get rocketry that's pretty much all you need it seems, and no point upgrading them.
For the price it's well worth it, i played for nearly 3hrs straight on the first play through and wasn't getting annoyed until level 6/15 as the layout and having to defend 2 points at once is hard to get started.
Having played
Pro's
Cheap
Fun concept
Kitties make kitty noise and where various hilarious costumes :P
Graphics are nice
Easy to learn and it's not too repetitive
Kitty AI isn't completely stupid, it runs outside of line of sites in some cases and doesn't always come to and from the same directions each replay
Cons
The AI for the turrets can be aggrivating, ignoring kitties right in line of site or trying to fire through walls
Layouts of maps can be annoying
Selling weaponry you only get 50% of cost back
Scouts cats are very annoying, they seem to no sell damage at times
There is a story but it seem abstract
