Resources define wars, whoever controls oil will control the world. Army want to invade this lands, but rebels, need to defend it at all cost.
In this strategy and simulation game, set in modern era you will be faced to enemies for control of oil refinery and strategic resource locations.
You can use two different factions with unique units and different strategy, the key is to have control over map resources.
Features:
-Simulation based gameplay, build your base and gather resources.
-Action combat with multiple military vehicles like tanks, and other artillery.
-Multiple interesting map locations like forest, desert and city ruins.

Oil Wars is probably one of the greatest games created. It makes other RTS games like Age of Empires look like a 1970s arcade game. Honestly the only issue I have with this game is that I can't completely dedicate my life to it as there is only a couple hundred thousand hours of content in the game. The graphics, audio, and gameplay are all superb and that is a fact. 11/10 would play again.

I'm gonna be honest with this game, there are stuff i really like and there are stuff that need IMPROVEMENT, those are not bad things but stuff i truly believe can be patched and updated.
Starting off, im a big fan of the older RTS games like AoE and C&C, and this game in particular i feel is really close to C&C Generals, it has a similar setting and its something i appreciate.
There are many options in the game settings which i didnt really expect from a indie game such as this, but there are a fairly decent amount of option and options that help you optimize the game for your needs.
THINGS THAT NEED IMPROVEMENTS! ;
1. There are a couple of bugs in the game in the game settings where i believe what is written is the code and its not really clear what that does, atleast that was something for me that i realized.
2. Graphically its decent, it looks retro, something i like. But when i maxed out the settings ive seen that the shadows of vehicles isnt fluid and jumps. Helicopter could use animating.
I'd also would like to see the contrast be a bit tweaked, i like the day/night mechanic but i find it that night time is really dark in this game.
3. Balancing in general. I went into a custom game and all was good, untill i realized that there aren't that many resources to gather on the map, and i was bottlenecked tbh. I could only produce one Heli as a "army". To add to this i think that the time to create a unit and to build a building takes some time, and it could be a bit faster for my paste and make the game has a faster pace.
4. Audio needs some balancing, its rather loud and it could use some balancing out.
Overall the game in its state is decent, it is a great start imo. YES the game could use more units and buildings to make the gaming experience more challenging and fun, but where it stands it is a decent game and i think that if the developer is keen on improving upon it, it could turn out as a fun RTS game that scratches the itch of games in the style of AoE or C&C.

Before I played Oil Wars, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good

Oil wars was exciting.. thrilling... adn immeditaly put me in to a trance this game was so cool that i litteraly lost hearing thank u to the dev and good luck on ur next projct
