Card Rarities
Kingdom Karnage has character rarities, common, uncommon, rare, epic and legendary.
Epic and Legendary used to mean something in game, they used to be hard to come by and a symbol of excellence. However over the years countless games have given in to the masses and rewarded everyone with everything for doing nothing. That is not the case in Kingdom Karnage. The true meaning of Legendary will be restored.
Epic and Legendary characters are so rare there are not enough for you to combine to acquire higher levels. To level up these scarce characters Enchanted Coins can be found in Top Tier Dungeons.

I've seen this game a year ago when it was very early in development and it made a huge progress, with upcoming updates that i'm looking forward to. As of today it's a nice looking, very balanced and enjoyable game. Bear in mind that it's a blockchain game, meaning you own your cards and you can sell them to other players on enjin marketplace, and the fact is Kingdom Karnage is one of the best blockchain games you can find nowadays. By playing you get lots of free cards that you can sell or upgrade. All in all I'm impressed and pleasantly surprised. Very recommened

Overall, this game is very interesting :)
It lacks several things such as Daily bonus (at the end of day 30 they might add even some random key that lasts for 1-2 days)
And also, if it matters to You, this game is also NFT (But I started playing it cause it's fun in the first place) :)

Please note at the time of writing (October 2020) that Kingdom Karnage (KK) is in open Beta. This means not all features are yet finished, there are occasional performance issues and the player base is still growing. This can mean there is currently sometimes a bit of an annoying wait for things like PvP. The game (even in Beta) is cross platform, available in steam, via a browser and an android app (IOS promised in the future).
The game play is simple to learn but hard to master. The player builds a deck of up to 30 cards from varying rarities (Legendary, Epic, Rare, Uncommon and Common) which he takes into battle. Each Legendary and Epic card type is limited to one per deck ensuring your opponent cannot just stack their deck full of Legendary cards. Other card ranks can have up to 3 of each type per deck. Any 2 card duplicates can be permanently sacrificed to level up their namesake (2 x level 1 human champion = 1 x level 2 champion for example).
At the start of the game, each player is dealt 3 cards from their deck, and an additional one each turn (up to 7 in their hand). Each card has a countdown timer which reduces by 1 each turn. The timer value is assigned by rarity (Legendary cards have a much higher countdown than common cards for example) and the player may play as many cards in their had that have a countdown timer that has reached zero. As cards are played, troops are summoned which are NPC controlled but act in a predefined way according to the game mechanic and any special "abilities" they have. As the player knows how they will act (Number of spaces they can travel, which direction they attack in etc) there is a great deal of strategy. The aim of the game is to get your troops to reach across the field to attack the opponent’s hero character. If you reduce your opponent’s hero to zero health, you are victorious.
In addition to the base campaign (which is already 120 levels, with another 80 levels coming soon) there are various other game modes including PvP, Dungeons (up to 3 players), Challenge modes and King of Karnage; there is plenty to do.
Kingdom Karnage assets are forged on the Enjin blockchain and the game itself is an Enjin multiverse game (If you don’t know what this is please google it and have your mind blown). It is not essential to have a crypto currency wallet to play, but I thoroughly advise you get one (Official Enjin wallet is recommended) to maximise what you get out of the game. Without one you would not be able to participate in cross game promotions like the recent multi game cyborg quest which KK was a part of along with about 5/6 other multiverse games. Participants were awarded a cyborg NFT token which recently retails at between $30 and $40 of enjin coin and no doubt will only increase in value. Currently blockchain transactions are fairly limited due to ethereum gas prices but this issue is expected to resolve with the release of Enjin's efinity solution before the end of 2020.
If you play this game as crypto player, I highly advise you pick up a “Pioneer” card from the Enjin marketplace. This card acts as the Multiverse Founders Token (MFT) for the game unlocking a quest to claim a monthly reward. Using store prices, the first 3 months rewards were already worth $65 meaning this token provides insane value!
All players are welcome to the telegram community (t.me/KingdomKarnage) and this provides a fantastic place to form dungeon/PvP groups. There are lots of helpful players like myself who are happy to help starting players and the dev is a regular whom ensures any comments that warrant one are responded to. The dev is incredibly well thought of by the community and is incredibly forward thinking, open to receiving ideas, feedback and even criticism. Any issues with the game are dealt with swiftly and there is a roadmap published which is already being chipped away at. The dev has already confirmed there will be new races added to the game, surprises not on the road map and cross collaborations with other games - Personally I can’t wait to see what he comes up with!
KK is already a worthy addition to the Enjin Multiverse family and is only going to get better with increased player base. What are you waiting for? Get over to the Kepithor store and get yourself a Catacomb dungeon key while they are for still for sale (Only 5000 will ever be available).

Damn, it's been 56 hours already... ? Feels like I've just started playing... This game gets you hooked, the grind is slow(ish) but not too slow, just about right to get you that feel of accomplishment of getting a better card than the one you already have in your deck (you can earn two random cards every day for playing 5 PVP matches, win or lose, you get 2 gems after each of them, so it's a win-win situation) .
All of the cards that you win in dungeons or buy via gems that you get by PVP-ing, or as rewards for your ranking in the PVP can actually be sold on the marketplace for ENJ (crypto currency), which is one of the largest game crypto projects out there.
Cards can be leveled up inside of the game by combining 2 of the same card which gives you 1 card of one level higher than the ones you have used to upgrade it.
Gameplay has a lot more strategy and tactics to it than one might think, once you start getting deeper into it, ideas of how you should approach battles start brewing in your mind. The more you play, the better you will be.
Cards are pretty balanced out and even if somebody has spent hundreds of dollars to buy them on the marketplace, it doesn't give him THAT much of an advantage over your own deck... If you have the strategy, have put in hours of gameplay into it and built your common, uncommons and a few rares to higher levels, you can be very competitive!
And PVP ranking, the higher you go up, the better rewards you get every Saturday (gems and even rare cards). And rare cards are really rare in this game... drop rates are low, so every rare that you have, appreciate it! Don't get me started on exotics or legendaries drop rates... :D
Currently, there are Humans and Undead factions, but Lycan and Elves are also currently in development.
Cons: maybe that current factions mostly differentiate in looks, not that much in how they play... A lot of HU and UD cards have similar abilities, but the game has one developer working on it so far and he does an amazing job listening to community suggestions and is basically a game nerd himself, who decided to take things into his own hands and create a game that he wanted to play, rather than hoping to find something similar to it but not quite like he wanted it... That shows his commitment and character and I believe that with time this game can get only better! Time will tell
Do I recommend? oh YES, YES I do!
