Syndrome
WISHLIST BENEATH – UPCOMING ACTION/HORROR GAME
the GameYou wake up dazed and confused, probably from the effects of cryosleep.
No one can be seen around, but you soon start to find the bodies of your dead crewmen.
The ship is adrift, and whoever – or whatever – killed your crewmates is probably still around.
Syndrome is a sci-fi survival horror game that takes place aboard the “Valkenburg”, an exploration and science ship equipped with the most advanced systems in the Novacore fleet.
You need to find out what happened to your crewmen and do whatever you can to survive this nightmare.
The enemies are powerful and numerous, which means that stealth and evasion are often the best strategy.
You’ll find weapons aboard the ship, but ammo is scarce and should be wisely spent.
FEATURES
● Claustrophobic horror: The action takes place inside a spaceship. There are countless horrors inside, both physical and psychological.
● Fight or hide: There are weapons on the ship, but not enough ammo to take everyone out. Use them wisely.
● Engaging storyline: Nothing is what it seems. Something very bad happened aboard the ship, and it’s up to you to find out what’s really going on.
● Reactive enemies: They’ll follow noises and investigate any disturbances.
● Interactive scenario: There’s plenty of exploration to do inside the ship, and many things to discover.

Just like the game description says, there´s not enough ammo. I´ve never played a survival horror game which requires a strong wisdom to decide in which situation is better to hid or fight.
Throughout the game, I had to constantly travel through different levels of the spaceship having to go back and back among them. I don´t know why but it was extremely addictive for me.
I was a bit worried for the negative reviews complaining about uncountable bugs in the game. I am not denying that I didn´t experience some of them but there weren´t so problematic. Even some of them helped me.
In the middle of the game, the story comes a little predictable about what is going to happen and even how it ends.
RENEMBER, use your bullets wisely.

Surprisingly good
Believe it or not, It generates enough fear you constantly save, so that shows a good use in atmosphere, the game is obviously built to a budget but by the looks of it a lot of love and care was put into it.
I recommend it for fans of sci-fi suspenseful games.

Fans of Dead Space will feel right at home exploring the corridors of a derelict spaceship. The atmosphere is thick with dread, and the grotesque enemies will have you checking every corner. While the story might not break new ground, it has some cool twists, keeping the narrative open until the end.

The environment is good, the story is cliche and the combat is average. But overall the game is quite nice, although it has a lot of empty space and walking back and forth. When you get to the end of the game you REALLY know the ship. I would have preferred a smaller and more focused experience, but it's cool nonetheless.

Starts slow. Takes a while until you grab a weapon, but then it picks up. It takes place inside a spaceship, so there isn't much variety in the scenario, but it works. Everything's dark, the lights are constantly failing, because of course.
But the story is neat, the game is tense and some parts are really stressful in a good way.

Some things feel a bit rough, some others look good. The environment is oppressive and genuinely scary, but feels a bit empty. Combat is ok, not stellar. The most basic enemies can be outrunned if there's space, while the powerful ones with the bladed arms will most certainly kill you if you try to mess around.
It's not an excellent game, but it's intense and provides a few hours of good scares while you try to figure out what happened in the ship.

Decent scifi horror game where you run around in an empty starship trying to understand what caused all the chaos. Dark spaces, bad visibility, ugly gory monsters, it's all there.
Far from excellent, but has a few strong tense moments.
