Cubicatch is a puzzle game where you control a cube, tasked with reaching the goal cube on intricate levels. The twist? You can only move from block to block, demanding strategic thinking for each move. What may appear straightforward at the outset becomes progressively challenging as new mechanics are introduced one after another. Good luck!

A short* little game about a familiar box-sliding mechanic seen in other games (e.g. Orbox, if anyone remembers that one). The twist though is that at some point you can shift from 3D to 2D and back (practically Fez style), and solve puzzles using the power of perspective. Ambience is comparable to that of a Minecraft game when it comes to the audio: serene, with music dipping in and out. It's all quite nice, which makes this game worth it's little price.
*If you're good at puzzles (even the "hard" puzzles were kinda easy). If not, expect to spend more than 3-4 hours on this game.

Cubicatch is a short and fun puzzle game with great design. The game isn't too difficult as far as complexity is concerned, but the puzzles are varied and creative. The progression is well paced with new mechanics steadily introduced over the 100+ levels. The music is calm and relaxing as well.
The menus and level select are a little confusing at first because they use the cube's movement mechanics instead of traditional directional navigation. However, this doesn't take long to get used to, and it results in many hidden secret puzzles. These optional challenges ended up being one of my favorite parts of the game. Cubicatch is an easy recommendation for puzzle enthusiasts, especially when there is a sale on the already low price.

So far, I am really enjoying this game! Though it is very keyboard friendly, I think it would be best played on a mobile device or by using a controller. Furthermore, both the soundtrack and graphics are beautiful!

A fantastic hidden gem of 2024 in the puzzle genre. The design is amazing, and it's executed so cleanly. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone and I can't wait for the next game from Birchfruit!

A very pleasant and relaxing puzzle game. I think many would agree that its biggest selling point is the ability to switch between 2D and 3D, so I was surprised to see how long it took to actually get to that point, but it's absolutely worth it.
Switching between perspectives has the potential to be messy but this game handles it very well. I never found myself doubting what any given move would result in. The difficulty is in a sweet spot for me. Not braindead easy but not bash-your-head-against-the-wall difficult either. The graphics are relatively simple but very polished. Nice sound.
I think my only gripe is how "pausing" the game actually boots you out to the main menu, and even hitting Continue results in losing your progress on the current level. Strange choice to me, I don't think I've ever seen a game that doesn't simply bring up a dedicated pause screen when you pause.
Bonus points for a pretty novel and not-tedious bonus ending.
