This game surprised me. While it is an indie survival horror game with fan service cheesecake as its first obvious appeal (like Haydee), it is a solid game at heart once you start playing it. And when I compare it to a similar Chinese developed game like Eternal Dreamland, this game is far more complete and playable by comparison.
There are five weapons in the game, with the accuracy of the guns being quite good (ducking helps if you need to snipe with the pistol or assault rifle) and you can perform sneak kills on some enemies with a knife. Headshots are absolutely king in this game across all difficulty levels until you get the shotgun (which is best used against later bosses), but I rarely found myself in an unfair situation due to bad game design... until I got to the bosses, but later on that.
Character customisation of your avatar is very easy and you can adjust their body type as you like (athletic, etc). Story is pretty thin, but it is there in notes left around and the music in the game is subtle and atmospheric. Playing on Easy I never really felt scared playing the game because of how plentiful ammunition and health was, but on the higher difficulty settings there were plenty of tense moments as I was forced to carefully make my way through the game to avoid death. In Easy the game is a breeze. In Normal (recommended difficulty) the game is challenging, but still enjoyable. In Hard everything is a bullet sponge and knife management to save ammunition on the stronger weapons is critical.
Once you've finished the main game, there are bonus areas to have some fun with like an endurance death arena, a photo area that also doubles as a location where bonus rewards are given to the player (just clothes and avatar poses) and a new trial arena that is a Souls-like one on one melee showdown against a new boss. This new area from July is still beta, but it's a nice touch that the developer is still working on things with this game.
Getting it out of the way, there are rare bugs in this game where some of the Chinese translations to English haven't been done (one of the switch lever handles about halfway through the game and the inventory item names in the add-on bonus sections) or the English translation appears to be basic. Additionally I found two locations where it is possible to accidentally get suck in the scenery (first warehouse traffic cones if you run up the tipped over cleaning sign, forcing a save load to escape it; second was in the final area of the game where it is possible to get caught on a cargo container door that you can't enter, but if you duck you can escape it). And in the final clothing location within the game, you sort of float a little above the staircase as you go down.
The biggest negative of the game for me was the distance between save points and some of them in the middle section of the game didn't have a storage crate with the save point. This made inventory management critical to avoid too much backtracking. Fortunately there is a hidden map in this game (just press M; it's not in the configuration settings and you're only told about it ONCE at the very beginning of the game) that acts as a anti-frustration feature to let you know where most locked doors are and where to use special items. And the three bosses that you go up against are crazy bullet sponges: the first one you dodge like mad and hope you have enough grenades and rifle rounds, the second one you absolutely need the shotgun for and have to avoid getting stun locked and the third has a stupid jump attack that is almost impossible to dodge so it turns into a shotgun/health endurance battle.
If the story was a bit neater and the bugs were dealt with, this would be a solid win. If Hard difficulty and the bosses were made a little more balanced it would be an indie contender. Even despite this I happily recommend this game for some cheap indie survival horror fun: it is the first game on Steam that motivated me enough to write my own guides. And if an improved sequel gets released, I'd buy that too.
Compared to the action survival horror, Eternal Dreamland, I honestly enjoyed this a lot more.

This game has clearly been review bombed without merit, Its a True survival horror Game, With a sexy twist, Its really fun, Difficult unique enemies, That will freak you out, Great horror atmosphere, Great survival horror throwback, With a need to be conservative with you're resources & offers multiple strategic solutions in combat, Great puzzles, Plus great level size for exploration & creepy cautionary areas, that made me double back to a save point before moving forward lol, It has a story & cut scenes, But definitely a weak point in the overall presentation, I would update with text based add on's, That will give more lore & replay value Gorgeous graphics, Runs well & even has bonus mod modes for photos, arena & a soulslike sword mode, Definitely worth the asking price, Perhaps more than double in the future, If the developers keep updating it, This game is a steal for the price & definitely a must play for true survival horror fans.
