A glimpse of death made the strong and wise warrior Gallar look for a way to continue enjoying worldly pleasures for all eternity. Ancient writings say there is a mystical cave in the Valley of Eternity that holds a lost relic capable of granting eternal life to the brave who finds it. Armed with his ax and his trusty pickaxe, Gallar sets off for the northern mountains in search of an epic adventure that may cost his own life; or guarantee it forever.
- Explore randomly generated levels! This action roguelite platformer offers challenging new experiences every time you play.
- Defeat enemies and evolve your character! Fight enemies and bosses to unlock new routes and gather experience to grow and customize your character the way you prefer.
- Collect ores to forge better equipment! Gather ores and weapon blueprints you find in the depths of the cave and take them to the village blacksmith to forge finer equipment. Fight even stronger and more powerful monsters.
- Customize your gameplay with runes and items! Find runes around the cave that will give your hero extra features. Assemble your build with up to three runes, forge items and set up your character in your preferred style. Choose your strategy and customize your gameplay!
- Face bosses in epic battles! You must deal with wicked bosses who will challenge all your strengths and tactics. But be careful: as the levels are randomly generated, you can find the bosses’ doors right away. Have the wisdom to know your limits and the perception of the right time to face them.

Fun little platformer with some different builds to try. Fast combat without being too difficult, although the difficulty is not very well balanced. There are four levels with unique bosses. It is very grindy. I was stuck on the second boss for hours of gametime, grinding experience points and upgrade resources. The ability to change the upgrade point allocation is gate-locked until the third level, and it did not take long to finish the game, after that. Certainly a little bit expensive compared to other similar games, given the scope of the gameplay.
Played on an Ubuntu Linux desktop and a Steam Deck, with Steam's Proton compatibility software. The game worked flawlessly with gamepad controls.

Cute little diversion with limited depth, but pretty tight controls and good pixel style graphics. Soundtrack is very bland.

Solid dungeon crawler/roguelite game. There are 4 dungeons, each with many caves, and you have to pass them all in 1 sitting to win ( like all roguelite games, there is no manual save, and if you die you have to start from the first dungeon and do all over again ). So at the beginning it's difficult and it seems impossible to pass all the 4 dungeons without dying. But each run brings some leveling up and thus upgrades in the attribute stats and also new gear and upgrades in the gear ( swords, armors and gadgets ).
So there is a coherent, steady increase in power, and eventually you are powerful enough to beat the game. Basically you have to study the attack mechanics of monsters and bosses and memorize them. I like games that reward skill and effort in a down to earth way, without any combos or complex key bindings.
The graphics, the sound and also the story are below average but the focal point in this genre is the combat and gameplay, which is effective 100%. There is a mini map, which is important to navigate inside the dungeons.
Simple, addictive, rewarding in the end.

A Good lil rogue like that feels good to play through.
On the shorter side for sure, but for a 3 $ game ( heavily discounted at the time of purchase ) I can Only recommend it.
Controls feel good, music is nice and sometimes a game you play for a night or two is more than enough.

This is about as 5/10 as games get, Dwarf Journey does everything Just Fine but also doesn't really excel at anything in particular. I paid two bucks for the title and got three decently fun hours out of it, if that math works out for you then by all means give the game a try. Not recommended at its full price, mild recommendation on deep discount.

If you like dungeon crawling this is a good experience; you slowly level up your character as you explore the dungeon and level up. I'm currently level 30, and also had this game on my phone, but it's still an enjoyable experience for this type of game play.

I feel like 60% discount was just the right price for me. The game is well crafted, but it's just very short.
