Flax Engine Tech Demo 2022 is a small demo application that showcases realistic scene rendering. New real-time Global Illumination rendering effect using DDGI algorithm simulates how the indirect light bounces through the world. This can be used in games and visualization products such as Arch Vis projects.
Use the input Controls list to learn how to control the light direction and toggle custom options such as lights, GI, FPS counter, or dynamically simulated ball physics.

Pretty good scene, thanks to which you can get acquainted with the Flax Engine. The observer has access to a small office filled with a variety of household items.
In addition to reflections, light and the "load" of your system - you can also run physics - by turning on rubber balls that will bounce off objects and each other.
I would like to see the game - on this game engine, for a full assessment.

Just discovered this gane engine via Youtube recommendations and I have to admit that the visual fidelity of this game demo looks astounding. I'll definitely be investigating further into Flax. I highly recommend for anyone curious about Unity/Unreal engine alternatives.

Cool demo. It does flicker and is sometimes gloomy. But it does look pretty mostly. I have high hopes for this engine and am happy to be a part of the rather small discord community. I had performance issues with my old setup but now it runs fine. I get around 180+ fps. My system has a 4080s and a Ryzen 7 7800x3D.

Flax Engine - Tech Demo 2022 is a life changing experience. Performance is rough but that is expected with no options for configuration, and no optimization. However, after playing this game, nothing will ever be the same for me.

Before I played Flax Engine - Tech Demo 2022, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
