Good puzzles to solve! But quite a short game. The environment is nice too, but the dialogue is a bit mean towards Nancy!

A lot of people argue that this is the most boring ND game, but personally, this is the only one I ever let new people start on. The story is easy to follow, Debbie sending you to bed when you're done for the day helps prevent you from getting stuck, the characters are fun and have a lot of personality (I <3 Pa), and the puzzles have a nice range in difficulty. In my opinion, it is the best ND starter game. It's the one that got me obsessed with ND in the first place and it's one of the few I play over and over and over again. It's easily one of my top 5 ND games and I can't wait to play it again :)

This is a fun casual game. Hidden objects, puzzles, etc. I got it on sale, but don't know if I'd pay full price for it. The graphics are average for the genre and the game play, also average.

I've played the majority of the Nancy Drew games that have been released; while this one certainly isn't my favorite, it also isn't nearly as awful as some reviews would suggest.
It is a little more errand focused than other games - the commuting around is a bit obnoxious, but most locations are fairly close so it isn't terrible. If anything, I'd lament that it feels as though part of the intro is missing? The story just... starts, and while it does make enough sense, it feels like part of the exposition was cut for one reason or another and the immersion is a little more lackluster than other games.
The puzzles are generally enjoyable, I only really found myself using a guide for a few of them because I couldn't quite get my brain to think about them the way I needed to. The artificial urgency of the puzzles is a little excessive - none of them are timed, despite the background chatter suggesting otherwise.
I wouldn't recommend this to someone who doesn't like the other Nancy Drew games - but if you've played most of the other ones, it's a very quick play by comparison (I had 4 hours and probably could have been a bit faster) and it's at least enjoyable enough to justify spending that much time in it.

This one isn't my favorite by any means. But I still enjoyed some moments. Some people in the reviews are complaining about the chores, it makes sense in the game because Nancy is an intern. So she has to do silly tasks.
Pros:
Pretty much always having something to do.
Lot of cute and fun tasks. (Grocery shopping)
Cons:
Repeatedly catching the mice
Lack of convos, not a lot of deep story in this one, more just simple puzzles and tasks.
Lackluster ending
Some environmentalist garbage. No, you do not need to "save" mice.
