The Glade

The game is decent, it is fun to forage for resources and the vaiety of things to do is slight, but fun. Combat is not super frequent, but is visceral and interesting. However, the game is missing many of the things you would expect (or at least want) in a survival game... For instance when you are crafting, there is no pop-up or display of the resources required, you have to "x"-click out of the crafting menu and then tab in to the inventory to see how many of each item you have... Speaking of which, when you tab into any menu, you would expect to be able to tab (or at least esc) out of said menu... but no, the only way out of the menus is the "x" square on the top or bottom of the menu... and the menus are super inconsistent, almost every menu has a different configuration, which makes finding that "x" difficult at times until you're used to it. Then there is the fiber gathering.. There needs to either be way more fiber-bearing plants available, or there needs to be lower fiber requirements in the recipes... Alien crystals should NOT be easier to accumulate than plant fiber (especially since the world is RIFE with foliage, but only one (scarce) plant actually yields fiber). I know the game is in early access, but still, these are Survival Game 101 kind of basic issues.

Its a good survival game! ive been looking for free wilderness survival games for a while and then found this. i gave it a shot and its actually pretty good ngl, but you can go behind bosses and just combo them to death but still very good 7/10

NOT A FINISHED GAME OR JUST VERY LIMITED CRAFTING, if the developer offered TO UPDATE THIS, too Multiplayer, I WOULD HAVE FRIENDS BUY IT FOR SURE: Also if the game was finished like the other needed crafting items and work benches up grades other types and even with the hide behind a toxic wall, a gas mask should help but it sure is hard core crafting UPDATE; TO REVIEW IS ABOVE 6/29/25
I found this game free Steam and not sure why it was for the 2.8 hours i played this the game ran flawlessly and the crafting was super fun and easy to understand and use. I wish more survival games worked like this with very little confusion and the combat seemed so far to be okay but not sure how it will be due to the only enemy i tested it with was the weird spiders. Note it may take at least one time replay due to having to hurry to get the water collector built due to the other items needed to be built but once you play it one time it just gets better and also note it take a lot of collecting to build things but over all i had fun playing this really a lot and recommend this game.
I wonder what is in the game i have walk the first time over the map is seemed to be quite big and the weird other enemy seen a few and it has other weird thing happening that i really want to keep playing it to discover what this whole game has. Get it free before the developers realize it is a Gem undiscovered.
Here's one good tip to help due to no map, you can make a marker that shows your base due to getting lost can be a thing.

When Buidling It Would Be Great To Be Able To Rotate Structures With The (Q) And (E) Keys
Otherwise Seems Great I'm Already Having Some Fun Rebuilding The Houses By the Merchant On Survival Island
mode Keep At It And I'm Certain This Good Game Could Be A Great One

I love this game then I see the last update is 2022...im sad
