Live the American dream and emigrate from Hong Kong with the help of the Triad. Sadly, nothing is free, and your dream isn’t an exception. What will be the price? Fight Orcs with swords or blasters. If you're an AI Dungeon immigrate like me, you'll find AIdventure incredibly easy to get into and start making stories in no time at all. If not, the community hub has a great Guide that explains everything you need to get started.
AIdventure is the best offering in the field of "AI driven text adventures." No monthly fees, a wide variety of AI models including KoboldAI and Chat-GPT, all your stories are private until you share them yourself, and best of all, the developers care! Updates frequently, answers questions in a helpful manner, and all in all just great people that deserve respect!

Really awesome game! Really cool to just vibe to on 2nd monitor when playing the larger models because of the generation time. The only thing that would be nice is if it can finish the generation of text in a complete manner each time. Some models are better than that than others.
Amazing since it's a one time purchase unlike most AI text generation games.

I like it; custom stuff takes a lot to set up, but it is proving to be well worth the effort. Currently roaming around my own version of Gotham City, a little copy-paste work, a wiki here and there, toss it in the game lore book, and simmer!
There are some pre-generated adventures that are really cool, and you can modify those as well. Custom stuff can get as in-depth as the time you are willing to spend on creating the content. I have only had issues with one model so far; the other few I have used have been doing fine, and there is a good selection. All in all, this is turning out to be pretty cool.

I would really like to play this game, however I made the mistake of choosing an AMD GPU, which this game doesn't seem to support. : (
I can't really recommend it, mainly because I can't even play it due to my choice of GPU.. which honestly I regret even more now x.x
----- Update! -----
Leaving in the negative review from before just to show a contrast.
The Game Dev reached out to me and offered to help and they ended up figuring out a solution that now allows me to play this game. If anything, I recommend just because the dev themself seems to want to make this work and will work with their players to find solutions to problems with the game : )

Yea I tried for about 2 hours. I typically like these "games" but this was a giant pain in the neck.
At the end of the day, I don't know enough to do this manually, I get this is basically an app or front for playing with an AI storyteller, but I just can't get things to work.
This was the base install without anything messed with all default.
So coming back after the Dev informs that the issue listed is fixed. I still have issues but the whole idea of what this is, is good. I couldn't get it to work for me but if you can for you its worth the time and effort.

Honestly, I think this game could have potential. The idea is there, but the execution definitely could do with some tweaking. Firstly, a tutorial would be great to help with better understanding the AI, character stats, etc. That being said, it is fun, and I think it would make a fun little edition to a D&D game if you wanted to try something different. So, overall, if I could give this game a neutral, I would. But, seeing as I can't, I will give it a positive as I think with some tweaking it could be a much better game.

First off, I love the idea of this. I really do. It's a new take on the choose-your-own-ending books I used to read as a kid, but with the major difference being that it's a different experience each time. It is still new, so the AI interaction still needs some training, and I imagine there will be more ai options and stories over time. The AI seemed hell bent of making us to most of the story writing, which seems a little counter productive, you'd figure your prompts wouild encourage the next section of story, though it often seemed like the story only moved forward if we moved it forward. Again, that's likely just AI training and the more we play, the better it will respond. GREAT idea, turning into a great game, and I would recommend. (PS: An untrained AI writes some HILARIOUS stuff though... just sayin'!)
