Honestly if you've found this game then you're probably looking to grab it anyway. Why not? It's cheap and the plot is sufficient enough to be carried by a surprisingly solid gameplay loop for a refreshing take on one of the world's most famous professional time-wasters. ;p

I am trying to be unbiased despite being used to regular minesweeper.
Here are the differences between this game and a regular minesweeper.
-moving character is slower than using mouse.
-progressively challenging : more obstacle rather than lengthy board.
-completing a game require to spot all bombs rather than discovering all safe place.
-beginner friendly : HP and retry.
-boss battle !

It doesn't seem to be luck based.
Conclusion
Recommended for beginners, using obstacle is an interesting way to add difficulty without relying on map size and/or bomb density.
Not recommended for those who are looking for (ultra) fast game because it feels slow to not use mouse.

This was a really creative RPG take on the game Minesweeper. If I'm being honest, I didn't pay attention much to the story since I mainly got it for the minesweeper aspect, but the characters did look cute. The overworld menu was pretty confusing at times, and the controls got some getting used to, but once I got the hang of it I really enjoyed myself.
It took me around 30 hours to max out the game. Which for me was extremely fulfilling and satisfying since some of the challenges were really difficult for me, particularly when it requires you to finish a level within a certain time limit. I really liked how they incorporated bosses, abilities, and obstacles (other than mines) into the game and I would recommend it for fans of minesweeper who are interested in trying a unique take. (Especially if its on sale!)

If you are interested in the anime doujin games released on Steam, you may already know their games such as Core Awaken ~The Yuka~, Maomao Discovery Team, Mine Dungeon, The Elven Educator ~another ver~, Core Awaken ~Jilelen and LittleSnow~ and so on. Game Experience
Mine Dungeon2 ~Rurumu's trip~ adds some unique twists to the classic Minesweeper game. It includes the mechanics of finding mines directly by the 3D anime character Rurumu. There are new elements in the map that make classic Minesweeper even more interesting. Not only that, she can find mines on the map with her basic Minesweeper skills as well as her own special abilities. The game flow proceeds by stage, but each stage map has a different minesweeper structure. Thanks to this feature, this game has a high replay value.
Above all, the anime characters are so adorable and support partial voice acting. The game story and worldview itself are interesting, but they are somewhat limited due to poor translation. Nevertheless, the story of Rurumu and her friends makes the player more immersed in the game. The game is generally relaxing and the soundtrack goes well with the atmosphere. The game design is rough, but it doesn't spoil the gameplay. Players can have a good time in the game.

Mine Dungeon2 ~Rurumu's trip~. This is a pretty interesting anime character game. Classic Minesweeper and cute anime girls meet each other. The basic rules for the Minesweeper game should be learned by the player, but the unique mechanics to this game are fully described in the tutorial. The player gets know it through the gameplay. If you want to spend relaxing time with anime characters, this game is for you. Recommended!
