Magnytour
This is the official digital adaptation of the MagnyTour board game.
You’ll take the role of a team manager and guide your team of 3 runners trough a series of grueling races that wind their way through mountains, plains and time trials.
In this turn-based game, every action must be carefully considered for each of your three specialized racers (climber, sprinter, and all-rounder):
=> Roll the dice to set your pace and risk encountering technical problems
=> Take advantage of the slipstream created by other racers to follow them
=> Strategically wait to slow down the racers behind you and create a gap
=> Seize an opportunity to attack and break away from the peloton
The game offers several options for guiding your racers, and each racer has their own strengths and weaknesses. As a manager, you will need to take these differences into account and choose your strategy accordingly.
MagnyTour offers a strategy and tactics-rich gaming experience for fans of cycling and simulation games.
Features:
* Choose between “classic” one-day race, Tour or time trial
* Solo mode against AI
* Online multiplayer mode with up-to 6 players

Great game, I really like bicycles and dice.
I have to say, you gotta go with 2 dice per roll. It opens up varying probabilities for the bonus numbers. And it would allow us to have more team mates on the board.
I would also think about giving each rider a certain number of "Matches to burn", a single extra die, that they can apply at any time during a race. Maybe apply restrictions to them depending on rider class.... If you save them until the end than they would add on to the sprint final, but they would be really useful in trying to close certain gaps, or a way to catch back on after a malfunction.

Lots that i like about the game, but i's too easy for cyclists to fall out of the race. Longer tours become a battle to just survive rather than win the race. with some changes it could be very good as i like the strategy. I would suggest 5 riders per team, more difficult to drop out, and some form of power boost that can be deployed at any time. The latter may help teamwork to be more relevant

It's pretty fun, but on the tours you can start with 18 riders and end with only 3, feels like a rider DNFing (rolling a 1 3 times in a row) is FAR too likely. Had me questioning frequently if the dice rolls are truly fair. If you were able to get through a 10 stage tour without having 80% of the riders forfeit, it would make it a very very fun game. I would even be okay with the dice being unfair to favor *against* rolling 3 1s in a row, as a technical can already be pretty devastating to a race and the fact that so many riders end up forfeiting just makes the last half of the tour much less fun, and involve much less tactics. Please consider fixing the RNG!

Enjoying this one so far. My first full tour on stream was a blast!
Gameplay pace and game-board style might not be for everyone but it is likely if you are looking at reviews for this game it is and I would recommend.
Can be very relaxing with exciting moments of risk and strategy calls sprinkled in.
The feeling when you hit a bonus roll or sprint ahead to the win is fantastic and it's matched well with the dread of falling behind.
Great game for holding a conversation with a stream chat, favorite way to play.
Tutorial did a pretty good job.
When you have the basics down it's straightforward and can jump into it without much stress.
I LOVE that you can customize the team names, colors, and even the rider names (and save them!)
Art style is solid and consistent.
*I don't know anyone with the game so haven't tried multiplayer yet.
Wish-list Items
Team colors somewhere in the results and rankings page to help find your team.
Speed Option (maybe a 1x, 2x, Skip): Option to speed up a.i. rolls on a simple click.
Adding team rankings to the results, I know it is more individual focused but team rankings would be fun.
A local multi-player hot-seat option could make this a fun family or party game passing around controls as well as great for streaming with chat controlled teams.
Increased field size: Speed options would make it more realistic time wise to have more than six teams or more riders.
Big ask... More World Building
I like the art style, but still yearning for a little more on the immersion side to mix it up throughout a race and tour.
More crowd rowdiness through costumes, funny pranks, or crowding tight spots.
Aesthetic road variants like lines or fan drawings / words in chalk and such.
Sound upgrades: Some meatier crowd noise or action sounds. An upgrade to the cycling sound when a rider advances, maybe some of the light buzzing of a large peloton when you scroll over it, riders over cobblestone, or when riders have a mechanical issue.
Maybe an added visual option for a support vehicle or two out there or motorbike filming the leaders.
This one is a little out there but.. for longevity sake
A carry over season mode of some kind connecting the multiple tours? And or career stats for saved teams and their riders?
I know that's all way easier said than done, just sharing what I'd love to see as a fan of the game.
I don't see anything about mod support right now but also wondering when I complete everything if new tours will be added either through updates or an eventual mod-support, creation option.
Glad I got to try the demo, it hooked me for the full purchase.

fun board game. Feels like the rng is unfair (it's common for like 5-10 1s to be rolled in a row) but otherwise really good.
