SteelLIFE is a point and click style game where the world around you is more or less mechanized. You’ll have to deal with robots in order to get anwhere, doing various fetch quests, and finding items, solving puzzles, and other things in order to move forward and progress onwards with the story. Every so often you’ll recover a bit of information you add to this special piece of equipment you can attach your link thing you have down in your interface to, and it’ll give a few lines about the backstory before the point you are in the game. Most of the focus is finding this particular player in the backstory. Hard to explain, but the game itself is fairly fun. The puzzles are difficult, so I skipped a bunch of them, completing maybe sixty percent of all of them after just simply not having the patience to really work through some, and others simply not even knowing where to begin… So this was a bit frustrating.
Music would go on and on for wherever chapter/point in the game you were at, so this could be a bit boring and monotonous after a while, though the tunes in and of themselves are not bad. Graphics were really nicely done, and the interactions with various objects and things around the world also were bonus points for me. The overall point and click concept is fine here too, but the various interactions made it a bit better than some I've played. There’s also an easy “teleport” feature or something like that if you want to move quicker without hitting up every single screen along the way. It’ll give you a big yellow ! mark if you are able to do something there too.
Pros
Good core build for a point and click game.
Graphics are pretty well done. You feel as though you’re in this robotic world as you play. Some of the various chapters change a lot too, so that’s also nice that the style didn’t remain the exact same throughout.
The interactions you had with various objects in the world around you, as well as things you added to your inventory was an added bonus for me. Nice touch there, no pun intended.
Some of the puzzles were pretty challenging and fun to finish.
The length of play isn’t overbearing and doesn’t have too many lulls.
The price of the game isn’t very high, so that’s always a plus. I’d still take a couple of USD off before buying it if possible. I’m always about the deals!
Cons
The music is too mundane for me, since you’re in areas for a while at times. It doesn’t change it up enough.
Some of the puzzles are really annoying. I skipped more than my fair share of them. I’m glad I could skip them, or I’d not be able to finish this game without hours of frustration on a few of the puzzles, most likely.
The flow could’ve been better, as well as the overall story. Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t good either here at times.
I had a small glitch where something I needed to do wasn’t lighting up with a hint. I had to go elsewhere anyway, but when I returned all the sudden I could interact with it… I think it was a glitch, but can’t be 100% sure it wasn’t just tied to the story. Anyway, that and the way the hint system was at times made it confusing - like at one point it tells me to interact with a terminal computer thing, but I actually needed something somewhere else first before that could be completely usable for the part I was at in that area.
Conclusion
Overall this was a fairly fun and enjoyable point and click game. Don’t expect it to be very long, but there are some extra achievements that you may not be able to scoop up on your first playthrough if you are so inclined to continue after the conclusion. Decent price and the game itself, while at times feeling kinda generic, also has some interesting things you can do as far as interactions go. Story wasn’t all that great, but the core mechanics and soul of the game are there, so I like it! Not super great, but not bad either.

TL;DR : Fun little story with a great steampunk-y art style. English translation is pretty good, only occasional weirdness.
So this review is based off my first couple of hours of gameplay, if anything significant happens to change it, I'll edit the review accordingly.
Steel Life is a great example of a point and click game done right. It's not perfect or groundbreaking but it checks off all the boxes of what a good point and click should be. The story is engaging and there are lots of unique characters to interact with. Plenty of puzzles and minigames to test your thinking and reflexes; nothing too difficult outside of a couple minigames that weren't explained clearly. The game has a handhold-y casual mode that points out interactibles and gives you as many hints as you want. Great for someone who just wants to play through it for the story. There is also a hardcore mode for those who don't want the help.
The art style is what really sold me though. It's like a steampunk-y version of the "Robots" movie. Everything is nicely detailed and there's all kinds of animation happening. The background music and effects are also quite good and add to the whole experience, which is saying something since I almost always tune out game music.
I should mention that game was originally made in Russian. The English translation is pretty good, though. I give it an A- because there have been a few wonky words now and then but over-all it reads smoothly.
All in all, this is a nice addition to any adventure game fan's library. I think it's worth it even at full price considering the quality of it but you can wait for a sale if you want.

Awesome art, very casual game with tons of hints available if you choose the easy path. Game has more than a dozen classic mini-games of all kinds, which somewhat overshadows the whole storyline. Good for beginners.
