At the turn of the century, Victorian life carries on with one sharp difference from our world- vampires run amok and are a part of every day life. After having run away from home to search for his best friend, the young Cecil meets Nemo, a pickpocketing vagabond. The two set out together but in order to find what they’re searching for, they must first unravel the truth behind a series of brutal vampire attacks from a decade prior.

Features:
- A short and intriguing linear character drama set in Victorian times
- Swapping perspectives between two main characters over 30 chapters
- Custom watercolor-inspired graphics

Crimson Waves on the Emerald Sea is a short, free Kinetic Novel. Ergo, it's the eletronic equivalent of going to a library and picking up a short book and reading it.
It doesn't have much to speak of, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The story is nice, the music is pleasant and the characters are charming. Unlike other kinetic novels I read through, this one actually holds some decent stakes and the narrative is quite compelling. Its strongest suits is its characters, who have a great on screen chemistry with each other and interact in engaging ways with each other.
It's the epitome of low cost as far as entry barriers go and if you're willing to give it a bit of your time, you'll be pleasently surprised to see how much this has to offer. Honestly a good story to read through.

Honestly, this is a decent free game with 1-3 of gameplay to depending on your reading speed. It is an intriguing story, it feels very wholesome in some aspects. Obviously, it's nothing too complex with it being a short free game, but for what it's worth it's definitely something to check out.
