About the Game
In a world abounding with monsters, His Majesty The King tasks you with warding off the threats that surround the land. For this, you are given the role of the proprietor of a fantasy town where you will recruit Heroes, manage your resources and supply your shops with the wares that your Heroes need for their adventures.
A Hero’s Rest will put your management skills to the test as you fight to grow your town’s popularity while tending to your Heroes’ needs & His Majesty’s demands.
- Unleash your creativity and build your shops across multiple landscapes, from cosy little Taverns to huge Training Grounds, the choice is yours.
- Each shop brings a boon to your town, providing you with new ways to gather resources or interact with your Heroes’ fates.
- Supply your shops with the necessary upgrades and decorations to push your town’s popularity to new heights.
- Craft gear across 13 (and soon 16) different categories and thousands of customization options.
- Level up your crafting stations and provide higher quality gear for your Heroes.
- Display your crafted gear across your shop’s various displays and watch your Heroes wear the equipment they purchased.
Heroes have a mind of their own and little regard for their safety. You’ll need to make sure to send Heroes on quests that they can conquer or they will find their demise.
- Send the Heroes on quests to gather resources for you to overcome the dangers that threaten your town.
- Watch them grow from inexperienced adventurers to powerful Heroes and create a personal attachment to those that stand out.
- Use the tools provided to you by shops like the Innkeeper & the Apothecary to influence the fate of your Heroes and secure their safety.
The Land of Felonia needs you, what are you waiting for!

once you build your town, have all the upgrades, advanced your gear shops to be at the highest tier your basically trying to get the quest chains but your heroes are usually over CR for them, then you need to restock the inn food every 5 minutes and all the shop upgrades, gets kinda tedious.
dont get me wrong its a chill game, theres not much to do, most my heroes are CR 60-70 and only up to the undead quest chain.
Bottom line is the game needs more stuff to do, would also be cool if legendary gear looked like legendary gear and if you could create gear sets with bonuses or something, the templates are pretty pointless unless you want every class to look the same. also the game needs to automate the tedious stuff and have the shops restock the items, and the inn needs more the 4 "auto make this food item" slots. most my time is spent looking at the inn waitying to restock the food every few minutes. would also ben cool if at some stage you can actually watch the heroes on their quests.
but havent seen a update for the game since jan so not sure if the game will even get more content or updates.

I recommend picking it up when on sale, fun little game to just chill with and get the milestones done, i got a lot more out of it than most people would due to just how relaxing it was.

I'm really enjoying this game. I believe most of the reviews are from previous patches. Most of the things they complain about are now fixed.

I am very selective on city builders and this one wasn't my cup of tea. That's on me, I can tell the developers are trying to provide a polished, quality experience for what they're offering. I may pick this back up if it goes on a deeper sale but just was not feeling it at current. The game isn't TOO micro-managey but at the beginning you have to do everything manually. I think further in there is some automation but I just didn't want to invest the time to get the town started and trying to navigate the menus. I wasn't too keen on the map designs as they are overly complicated and I didn't want to be constantly scrolling around the map (the navigation isn't fantastic) at the early stages. Later on it appears you can jump directly to buildings however. No hate for the indie dev experience.

The game is fun to play and the concept is great. The execution isn't that great though. Would probably be a good buy at say $7.50, but definitely not full price. I can see why people hat the building system, it is a little annoying but you can get used to it. It is a little annoying having this huge town, but you only have enough space to build a few buildings and you are limited to building on lots instead of just openly building anywhere. There is a lot of fun to be had with this game, but it might honestly be better if the dev started working on a sequel and completely rebuilt it with better mechanics and learned lessons.

I really do love this, sadly it seems like it came to an end, would have loved to invest more in this.
A lot of freedom to play with.
