Set in the near future, our story begins with a report of a wormhole. With no signal from the unmanned spacecrafts sent to this anomalous wormhole, our main character Adam ‘Echo’ Winters, a successful astronaut, volunteers for an expedition to this wormhole. Traveling with the space shuttle to the wormhole, Echo faints while passing through the hole and wakes up in a completely different place.
Finding himself in an abandoned station and having no idea how he got here, Echo tries to unravel the mystery of what happened to him with the help of EVE, the artificial intelligence that controls the station, and realizes that everything is more complicated than it seems. Echo begins to realize that this place is not what EVE told him and as he unravels the mystery of what happened, he will go deeper and deeper and uncover one of the greatest secrets of mankind.

5.5/10
Rating would be 6 to a close 6.5 if it werent for the high vram demand, a handful of crashes even on medium and low settings, a resolution bug, and overall not being fully optimized as it could be.
Despite this I can def recommend it and I loved it, I persevered and got it working on medium settings and played it through for all endings and liked them all!
See below for more details on the bugs I got.
So note that u DO need a good enough setup to play this without crashes and on high settings despite being such a short 'simple' game.
I might not be on the best of gear by now with a 970 and only 4 vram, but a game like this can easily run better without the issues I had.
I can play almost all games even big and demanding games on high settings just fine, but typically I see these issues a lot with fresh devs/first games that isnt optimized as well as could be, maybe because they dont know how to yet or use altenative engines/packs etc, or in other cases where they use certain shader assets that doesnt work well on all Linux distros.
The issues in this game tho is the fps/optimization stuff and too high vram demand imo.
Keybinds are good, unless ur lefthanded ofc, but cant be remapped.
This game is def worth checking out if u like scifi and space stations and the price if more than fair and for just 1 euro.
I LOVED the atmosphere and the visuals and hallways on the station. I loved that suit upgrade so u see everything in green and the sound that goes with it.
I would have maybe liked a flashlight tho, to be able to get a closer look at some things because its set dark in many corners, such as the hydroponic planters where u can hardly see the trees inside.
The character Eve I liked the look of, the text and options were decent, and the story/stories were actually quite good and I was eager to see the other endings as well.
There are 2 major endings, the other few are slight alterations of those but still worth going for.
The game doesnt save but it only takes 30 min the first time and then 10 min once u know where to go and skip dialogue for the other endings.
I loved the different scifi and space take on the Adam and Eve story we alr know, and I like ur take on it much more but what a scary matrix thought if that was true!
- Minor things to note thats almost not worth mentioning, was that the sound is quiete low in some areas/types and u raise the volume to hear it better, but then certain other sounds will be way too high and u end up jumping out of ur seat, like with the gunshots.
And the hangar space door u exit in the end, there is no clear indication enough that thats where u have to go, it just looks almost part of the room in general and I ended up exploring left and right b4 I went close enough to trigger it. I thought I had to open or start something first:)
- I also dont think the Visual Novel should be top of the tag list, this is way more of a walking sim and space category imo. I have visual novels filtered out normally, but would have loved to see this game in my lists. I saw it only through SteamDB.
Otherwise its a really good first game that I def enjoyed! Or Im just asuming its a first game here.
I was a big fan of the visual looks and lights and the endings, and omg that Myst nostalgia and flashbacks when u get to library stuff gave me chills and was both cool and out of place but fits the whole.
So be sure to give this a chance if u love scifi stuff.
The issues I had was the High setting being a big nono, mouse goes bonkers and 15fps.
Medium settings only works AFTER u get to the next place after taking off, otherwise the game will crash just after landing.
Changing resolution a bit lower didnt work for this, + can only be done while on the menu screen, if I did it during gameplay the game bugs out and I have to force a restart.
On low settings it runs fine without issues, but the first initial room u leave just a few steps later, looks very poor on low compared to medium.
But once u take off and get to the next places, medium works fine for me, and the diff between low and medium is also slight compared to at the starting point.
I also played it through several times for all endings, and I was forced to restart the game for each new game because if I tried to do a second round and continue straight on a new playthrough without quitting first, the game crash no matter what just after landing after the takeoff, giving off a new fatal error I will post in comment below.
So for anyone on older specs and with only 4 vram, I recommend u start off with low settings and 1920 1080, and for me I was then able to switch to medium after the takeoff without the game crashing and having to start over, because the game doesnt save.
The game IS worth playing despite this, just get past that takeoff/loading scene and it works better onwards.
The price is fair but also cheap for what u get tbh, if these issues were improved it would be worth a bit more.

First things first, as the firstborn game of the Underheaven Studio's, this game was way better than I anticipated. It offers great map design, free will to the players. Wish we could use the gravity controller more though. Hope to see more of your work!

A new perspective to the ancient story. Amazing graphics for this price range. One of the greatest experiences under 1 dollar.

Although it is the first game of the developer team, it is a game with a short and nice story. At the same time, the atmosphere of the game is very good. The graphics of the game are quite good for the price and size of the game. Changing the ending of the game by making choices adds a nice mechanic. I can't wait to play the other endings. A game like this for such a price is incredible. We are looking forward to other games from Under Heaven Studios!
Finally, I will find you, Lily!

A quick walking sim with an interesting idea of creation and existence that's a bit flawed but not that bad. Great use of Unreal engine for some nice eye candy. For a buck, worth it. :)

Wouldn't expect these graphics & atmosphere from this price. Interesting game...
