With the Maji Market back at the Kilima Village Fairgrounds, there are plenty of new and returning activities to play, more rewards to earn, and new quests to experience in Palia. With Chayne being one of the main quest NPCs for this event rerun, an incident occurred after hours, which can be investigated in the Wishes in the Wind quest.
This incident resulted in wishes falling from the Wish Tree as Chayne tasked players with discovering what had happened from Villagers. Wishes In The Wind Event Quest Objectives List
Wishes in the Wind is the following quest after players have completed the New Year, New Wishes quest at the Kilima Village Fairgrounds. This quest will be delivered to them by Chayne attached to a letter found in their Mailbox, which he requires their help with an urgent matter.
Like the previous quest, this must be completed at the Kilima Village Fairgrounds, as Chayne needs them to investigate a mysterious incident that occurred after the market grounds had closed. We've provided all the quest objectives for players to guide them during the Wishes in the Wind quest:
- Talk to Chayne
- Gather all of the fallen wish papers scattered around the Maji Market
- Return to Chayne
- Ask around the Maji Market about the late-night wish tree incident.
- Talk to Zeki while he's at the Maji Market
- Return to Chayne
How To Complete The Wishes In The Wind Event QuestÂ
Chayne will forward an urgent letter to the Mailbox, which triggers the Wishes in the Wind event quest for the Maji Market. Rushing to the Kilima Village Fairgrounds to speak with him, he details an incident that occurred after hours, which resulted in several wishes falling out of the Wish Tree, and he tasks players with tracking all the fallen wishes throughout the market.
Most of these fallen wishes can be found near the Wish Tree, but a few are scattered away from the Wish Tree. This will take players some time to find, but we've listed all found locations where they can collect these fallen wishes:
Fallen Wish #1
Look for the main staircase upon entering the Maji Market beside the Chapaa Hut and Pen with a fallen wish paper to be found and collected.
Fallen Wish #2
The next fallen wish paper is found by the inner wall on the western side of the Wish Tree beside some barrels.
Fallen Wish #3
This fallen wish paper can be seen directly across from the second wish paper as it's across the barrels near some rocks
Fallen Wish #4
Look for the staircase connecting behind the Wish Tree area where this fallen wish paper can be collected off the ground
Fallen Wish #5
Behind the Wish Tree area, look on the ground beside a New Year Short Lamp Post
Return the fallen wishes to Chayne before he tasks them with inquiring Villagers at the market if they have seen anything regarding the Wish Tree incident. Speaking to Kenyatta, Reth, and Zeki will turn up some valuable information, especially as Reth sees Zeki nearby, and they can turn in the information he asks one last favor to speak to Zeki.
After inquiring with Zeki regarding the incident, he described being frightened by Kenli near the Wish Tree, which terrified him to the point he knocked into the tree, thus knocking the wishes out of the tree. While he apologized for not coming forward, he states that discussing wishes reminds him "of the good ol' days," which they can speak to Chayne once more regarding what Zeki had told them.
This may cause some worry about Zeki, which Chayne encourages not to intrude as to give him time and concludes the Wishes in the Wind event quest. Players will be awarded 15 Renown and 500 Lucky Envelopes to spend during the Maji Market event.
