RECOMMENDED FOR YOU
the GameSentience: The Android’s Tale is a choice-based narrative adventure game from the creator of The Deed series and the Space Pilgrim saga.
- Play through a complex narrative which is influenced by your decisions. Freedom of choice does not come without consequence, for humans or robots. Will you be an obedient servant or plant the seeds of chaos?
- Interact with the forgotten pioneers, the twenty-four colonists stationed on the borderworld of Akritas. Get to know their various stories and backgrounds, obey their commands and earn their trust (or not, as the case may be).
- See the world through the eyes of an android and encounter relevant questions about the future of artificial intelligence.
- At least a dozen possible endings. Every major character may survive or perish during the game as a result of your choices and actions.
- Uncover the mysteries of this desert planet on the edge of space and learn the true nature of your mission, all while reliving the days of good old-fashioned point-and-click adventure games.
- Features mouse, keyboard and controller support.

So this game really suprised me. I ended up enjoying the story and finishing the game in one sitting. Unexpected gem.

I don't usually play RPGMaker engine games, but this one is very well made and you can't even tell aside from the production values. The visuals are excellent and the overall concept and execution is good. I found it better to use a guide since there aren't really puzzles and it's more about finding the right person and accomplishing a certain task. There are too many endings and you have to get them all to unlock all the achievements, so I found each ending less impactful as a result. The game requires a second run and I found this fun because I was able to speedrun it to get to where I needed to go.

Sentience The Android’s Tale was a genuinely enjoyable narrative driven experience. The story raises a lot of compelling questions about identity and consciousness, and it maintains a strong sense of progression throughout. By the time it reaches its conclusion, everything comes together in a way that leans slightly into the fantastical, but still delivers thought-provoking ideas and a satisfying sense of closure. What really stands out is the choice system. Throughout the game, you’re given multiple decisions that feel meaningful and help shape the journey in subtle ways. It’s not always clear how much these choices impact the overall outcome, but they do a great job of keeping you engaged and invested in the narrative. The final moments offer several key decisions, which adds to that sense of agency and makes the ending feel more personal. While the gameplay is fairly straightforward and leans heavily on its storytelling, that’s clearly where its strengths lie. The pacing is consistent, the writing is solid, and the themes stick with you after the credits roll. If you’re looking for a story-focused adventure with interesting ideas and a bit of replay value through its choices, this is well worth your time and money.

A point-and-click adventure game with pixel art. The game features an original plot, with the protagonist being an android robot working in a space colony.

Sentience: The Android's Tale is a short enjoyable little game. Very straight forward but with some choices that have real consequences. I especially likes the ethics in this game. A good game makes you think and helps you evolve personally. This is one of those titles, although due to the very short game time of roughly 8 hours I don't think it would be worth full price. But for free you certainly should have a look and it is most certainly a nice recommendation for future games by the creators.

9/10, minor spoiler: turn on movements speed on fast. Game has incredible story, one of the best in my gaming experience. Every character in game, has its place, importance and views. Characters that are written in game, they are not written to be a heroes or villains, they are well written to be humans, with they opinions/ego/bias. And game does that at phenomenal level. How u impact story and consequences of ur actions is handled at high level. In some cases ur actions will lead into some 1 death, ur incompetence will lead some 1 to death and the best part it can even lead to ur own death. It took me 4 playthroughs to 100%, the 4ft one was more on boring side and wrecked my left mouse button(dialogue skipping). But the 1st-3rd has a lot of flavor and possibilities and kept fun in the game. Regards of puzzles in game or solutions to some situations, they were really basic, on easy level, but hard on tedious scale. U will have to back track a lot in some cases to find solution, even before u interacting with that solution, u were not able to pick it up, cuz the problem was not yet presented, so a good amount of attention goes long way in this game. All endings are unique in game and they present with good idea how would that world look with what u chose. To the thing, i didnt like it, i understand its story game, but if in that story game, was a fighting or some progression regards ur character, in my eyes this game would be 10/10. I am not a big fan of story games, for that reason there is no action in them, but this game story was amazing enough to keep me hooked up.
