For a solo developer, this game is genuinely impressive. From what I understand, it’s a passion project—and at just $10, it offers excellent value. Despite a few bugs here and there, I’ve easily gotten more than my money’s worth.
That said, I tend to enjoy games with a bit of roughness around the edges. It’s important to know what you’re getting into, and honestly, a quick glance at the store page gives you a pretty clear picture. This is a raw, unpolished survival experience—complete with crafting, base building, and all the features fans of the genre expect.
Still, there’s something undeniably charming about it. It's a little janky, a little buggy, but full of heart. And that’s what makes it worth supporting.

The gamedev has been busy updating the game, there is a good amount of content added in.

The gameplay experience so far has been brutal, many times when I assume I am safe to wait out the night out in the wilds. There is always something that is wanting to eat me, almost jumped out of my chair when a bear attacked me during the night in the nearly pitch black forest LOL It was so quiet around me just before that happened, I tried to run away & crossed paths with a horde of zombies.
There is friendly fire, you can possibly use that to your advantage when you are outnumbered in battle. I was being chased by a pack of wolves & one of them were taken down by bandit's firearm.
Every shot counts on Territory, I appreciate that we can have a chance to re-obtain our arrows. Most other survival games always give you an abundance of firearm ammo, yet here. You will need to plan out what & when you are going to use items for early game sessions.
I have managed to find a somewhat quiet location to build a starter base, right next to a small area I can go fishing. I think I have survived about 3 bandit raids & 7 zombie hordes ever since I have began building.
I'm enjoying the fishing on the game, having to improve my character's cooking skills in order to make better meals.
I haven't had a chance to delve deep in to the gardening for Territory yet, but I am slowly working at it. I am getting very close to having the required resources to craft a water catcher, once that is finished. I'll definitely be able to travel much further to explore or raid the bandits before they come after me.

A few times I got to play on someone's server, it was rad seeing the amount of structures they have worked on throughout the development Territory. Though due to our time zone difference, I don't get to play with that person too often.
Would be cool to see more people join in, the dev added railroads. I'd love to see those zipping all around the map to different player settlements & have something like a trading economy of some sort.
