The Hyrcanian Forest is the first biome that players explore upon setting foot on Mount Qaf. Here, various types of enemies lurk at every step, ready to hinder Sargon from reaching his goal. It is also the location where players will encounter Erlik, a giant boar armed with poison.
Location of the Puzzle
As players venture through the forest, they discover that certain areas are inaccessible. Special abilities are required to access these areas, some of which can only be obtained later in "The Lost Crown." An intriguing element within the Hyrcanian Forest is a puzzle involving several statues. Although it may seem straightforward, solving the puzzle requires some assistance.
Inside the room, there is a stele with a riddle:
"These statues keep watch, a certain direction they face. There's an object hidden within a secret place. The largest one looks to the east and watches all the rest. The medium guards the smaller in the direction that is best. Finally, observing the other two, the smallest awaits a guest."
Upon entering the room, players will initially encounter only two statues, potentially causing confusion. However, there are two additional statues, one above and one below. Using the Dimensional Claw, players can retrieve them one at a time and place them in the same positions as the stele.
The Dimensional Claw becomes available after defeating Kiana in the fourth main quest.
Arranging the Statues in the Correct Order
Once all four statues are gathered in the same location, it's time to rearrange them:
- Place the largest statue next to the stele.
- Move the second-largest statue to the middle.
- Position the smaller colored statue closest to the exit.
- Ensure all three statues are facing the direction indicated in the image below:
Upon completing these steps, a chest will appear. Open it to find an Azure Damascus Ingot, a valuable resource in "The Lost Crown" necessary for upgrading Sargon's swords and bow. This achievement marks a significant milestone in the game, providing players with a valuable resource to enhance their combat capabilities.
