Synopsis
Muse - Valkiri & Dungeon is mainly a 2D side scroller.
Gameplay
Right now there are four completed areas to play. This is one to two hours of play time. That includes unlocking all of the available girls and all of their positions.
The most irritating thing for me is that if you play with multiple monitors and click on another monitor the game will minimize, but keep playing. I had to turn my mouse sensitivity all the way down so that this wouldn't happen.
The game has a couple of different phases. The first phase, that you will have to play the most is a 2D side scroller where you have to change the level of your weapon to hit the enemies. As far as I could figure out the controls on the "help" screen don't do anything. I played with the mouse, holding down the mouse button to increase the angle and letting go to fire, at which time the angle went back to the bottom. It is playable in this manner, but the controls could be improved upon. After you destroy all of the enemies you can "rescue" the girl. This is phase two. The girl is being held on a spinning wheel and you have to hit targets with spiked metal balls. When you hit three the wheel changes direction and the targets are reset. You have to do this three times to "save" the girl. After you save the girl you unlock one of four "positions". In order to unlock another "position" you have to play though the level again and the difficulty increases.
After you have saved a girl and unlocked a position you can interact with her. All of the interaction is rape, you do what you want with her. All of the first positions she is on a wheel. The remaining three positions vary per girl. In order to interact with the girl you have to pay coins. The problem is that you only get one coin per enemy that you kill with a statue at the end of each level you can hit many times for more coins. At the advanced levels you're going to have to spend your coins on the advance strike options as there is no way you're going to be killing the "boss" bear without one and some of the later levels have two of the boss bears.
The Gallery
There is no Gallery, you go to the level of the girl you want to see and you can view or interact with the content that you have unlocked.
Final Verdict
The game play could be improved, and may be. An increase in the drop rate of coins would be a step in the right direction. Currently it is a bit pricey for what you get.

Very casual game, a combination of third-person and first-person a little irrational shooter. Western anime style lewd scenes with some animations.
