Fuchian Chronicles
“First contact never ends well for the less advanced civilization.”
In the hundred years since the Galactic Fuchian Empire began its interstellar expansion, it has always been the more advanced civilization. Now, for the first time, the Empire has encountered another spacefaring species on par with theirs. After a disastrous first contact, conflict between the two civilizations seems inevitable. Facing an uncertain future, Kimi, a young cadet in the Empire, must navigate the harsh realities of war.
-Selectable battle system: Choose between Active Time Battle, Conditional Time Battle, and Traditional Turn Based combat systems.
-Ground and space combat: Fight on foot and command starships against enemies of the Empire.
-Skills and abilities based on equipment: Swap weapons and equipment for abilities that suit your needs.
-Crafting on the go: Collect materials in the field and use them to craft various supplies as needed.
-No grinding for exp: Defeated enemies only give material for crafting, and instead you “level up” and gain stats based on story progression.
-No random encounters: The majority of combat encounters is represented on the map and can be avoided if you don’t want to fight them.
-Choices matter: Your actions, and inaction, may affect the outcome of the story and lead to bonus rewards, or unexpected consequences.
PLEASE NOTE
The above is a list of all the features currently in game, additional features may be added as development continues. The story of Fuchian Chronicles is incomplete while in Early Access. New chapters will be released every few months with the price of the game increasing gradually as they are. Players who buy the game will receive all chapters regardless of when you purchased it.
Fuchian Chronicles is a remake of my first game, Space Fox Kimi, which was originally released on Steam in 2018. I have learned a lot about game development since my first release, and wanted to update the game with new graphics, gameplay, and various other improvements before continuing with a sequel. Players who’ve played Space Fox Kimi will notice many similarities in the story with the original, but some story beats have been altered and there will be new plot points as well.
I sincerely hope you enjoy my game, and thank you for supporting me!

WOOOOAH!
Alright.
that was a good adventrue, and i really hoping for the second part of the story to come!
so yeah.
story is decent, i like it just as much as some diologs between characters.
VIsuals looks lovly, desighns are cool, space foxes are the best (but space bunnys are too).
gamplay...
well.
i'm not a fun of a RPGmaker style games in terms of gamplay, but this one was decent and quite fair.
Well on foot it is, becous space battles a way harder then foot one.
and yes
i hate RNG, but well, game is too good for it to really spoil it.
all in all, great game for an evneng or three, with a place for improving a pacing and some balbance for the price less then a bread.
All hail Kimi the fox!

TLDR . Very enjoyable game overall.
Pros :
- Cheap
- Interesting story and believable characters
- several difficulties to choose
- Several endings depending on your actions during the story
- OST are good and well used, with good use of SFXs along battle
- Cute and attaching characters. Also, the game has very good graphism for and RPG maker engine and an enjoyable art style.
- about 15-20h long in hard difficulty if you read all dialogs and do all side content. Probably can be reduced to 10h in lower difficulties or if you only focus on Main story.
- No random battles while moving around.
- Game is tense and always throw you from a grim situation into another
Cons :
- ...well, Game is tense and always throw you from a grim situation into another (^.^")
- Too short IMO. Not in terms of price/time ratio, but because I would have liked to enjoy the game for longer.
- Too few side content to breathe between major operations.
- You can't farm. Number of battles available through the game are finite, and so are the few ways of healing without use of ressources
Just finished the game yesterday, and it was a very enjoyable experience ( And I am not a big fan of RPG makers usually, so GG for that ). The OSTs are very well used allong the game IMO. I kinda would have liked the game beiing longer, so I could enjoy more of it, but it is what it is. playing in hard, The things were always hectics and I don't really know if I liked that or not lol (kinda both I guess, as it create tension and contribute to the overall storytelling) . The story might have benefited of more "breathing" moments in the form of smaller / side Ops but that's my opinion.
But very good game overall

I just finished my play through and I like the game. Hope for a sequel that continues the story.

A few bugs here and there but the gameplay is solid and performs exactly as intended. The real strength is the story, which I found rather enjoyable. For the most part, I don't think there wasn't a time where I wasn't interested in seeing what happened next. I hope this gets a sequel. They have great potential in their universe.
