A succubus issues threats against humanity once every 100 years. While men die and young women disappear one by one, a succubus hunter visits a cursed city under the moonlight. * Main Weapons
– Leather Whip: Short-range and deals less damage. You have this by default.
– Thorn Whip: Long and twice as strong as Lether Whip.
– Chain Whip: Twice as strong as Thorn Whip.
– Flame Whip: Twice as strong as Chain Whip. Effective against ice.
– Ice Whip: Twice as strong as Chain Whip. Effective against flame.
– Magic Whip: Twice as strong as Flame Whip. Throws a magic ball.
* Sub Weapons
– Scythe: Goes in a ballistic trajectory and penetrates through enemies.
– Boomerang: Goes to the corner of the screen and returns.
– Bomb: Stays still for a moment and deals damage to enemies.
– Clock: Stops enemies’ movements for seconds.
– Cross: Aims and chases after a nearby enemy.
* H Scenes
When she gets lethal damage while clothed, her HP becomes 1 and she gets naked!
If she is damaged without clothes, she will fall prey to monsters.

EASY, NORMAL, HARD, INSTANT DEATH

Adult Compendium
There's a very short list of adult games I'd confidently recommend to someone who doesn't even care about adult games. Midnight Castle Succubus DX is on that list.
What's here is an incredibly solid 2D side-scrolling action platformer with a visual style that of course will remind most folks of early Castlevania games and I don't think that's a bad thing here. They're wearing their inspirations on its sleeve but not afraid to lean into it and provide an experience that I say is just a really good metroidvania experience for folks who are both new to them or are doing their 30th one.
Briefly to bring up the adult content, it's definitely really fantastic with some detailed and really well done animation and artwork that shouldn't be dismissed. It does sometimes reach into some more fantasy levels of animation with things like the ol' tentacles, but one of the great things about this game is.. if you don't like, you can just turn it off! This game comes built in with a nice and fancy SFW mode which allows you to just have a really great Metroidvania (with still a scantily clad lead character) but without any of said content and not really missing much of anything (other than just some really well crafted artwork and pixel animation).
If you enjoy metroidvanias at all, I do genuinely think this game is worth at least giving it a shot. Even though yes on the floor it is an "adult" game, just turn it off into SFW mode and enjoy a really well done metroidvania.

Surprisingly good platformer in the style of Castlevania II. The gameplay is really solid. It’s a shame it’s a hentai game, because it could be as popular as Momodora otherwise. It’s not exactly a metroidvania, since there’s very little backtracking or looping paths to really classify it as one.
The main downside is the constant crashing (at least on my PC; I’m using Linux, by the way). It autosaves often enough that it’s not a huge issue, but it’s still pretty annoying.
Overall, a really good game. Definitely a must-play in my opinion.

Great gameplay and SFW version doesn't hold back story. But only if you are forced to play it like that. The hints of a captured villager nearby is a great touch and talented artwork.

Castlevania with more fanservice
Bosses could be more challanging as they are mostly repetetive series of dodges and very few have some change in moveset or interesting arenas... but that's also the case with most of castlevania's bosses too and it's a hentai afterall
Responsive albeit sometimes the game acts like you didn't press anything and you can't long jump (but that could be something on my end too) and while enemies mostly behave as they should, both them and ground sometimes refuse to acknowledge they exist and you can drop under the map (save and load fixes it) or enemies drop from above so you need to deal with few more at the same time (only succubus has issue with that as she lacks aoe that whips have)
Beside those minor things it's perfectly fine, good level design, progression, scenes and only the replayability of doing 3 runs for full content is questionable as 2nd and 3rd one is just a run through with no fast forward to the more challanging parts, but maybe some people that missed the crowns would enjoy getting cgs the "normal way" (fast one is to turn on one shot mode at the end, die few times with characters you miss and turn back your preffered diff for the fight, so with that having no restrictions I'd say those reruns are still not looking that great)

Incredible castlevania-like game. Had a blast playing. Honestly this game can be played fully SFW and you're missing nothing. Great controls, graphics and retro music. You can tell the devs really put a lot of effort into making this game fun and rewarding to try and clear everything. Also, excellent QOL features that make the game less punishing to navigate, heal, continue at bosses, etc. 5/5 stars!
