Crazy Driver is just a cheap and simple game - but it's quite fun!
You flee in your vehicle as you're being chased by the police, who try to crash into you.
The longer you last, the greater the number of police vehicles who join in the pursuit.
If they crash into you too many times, or if you smash into a mountain, your vehicle explodes.
You can pick up money as you go along, by driving over the various wads of money left lying on the ground.
There are also some tool kits you can drive over, in order to repair your vehicle.
With the money you collect you can buy different types of vehicles, which can have different speeds, armour, etc.
Personally, I liked the pickup truck - I felt like I was starring in The Dukes of Hazzard, being chased by Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane.
The police vehicles which chase after you, and crash into you, can also crash into each other (or into mountains).
You can get achievements for the game based upon how many police vehicles are destroyed.
The achievements in the game are very easy to get, with the last one requiring you to "Destroy 100 cars".
I had assumed that you'd have to destroy 100 cars in one round, but not so, they just add up as you go along.
(Actually, I had assumed the achievements were regarding the police vehicles, but maybe they were re. the player's vehicle - I'll have to get someone else to check that for me.)
The graphics are extremely basic, but they were fine with me.
A top-down camera view is used.
I don't know how much replayability there would be in the game, but it's very cheap (especially if, like me, you buy it on sale), so even if you play it for half an hour to an hour or so, you'll get your money's worth.
If you like car games, and aren't too fussed about graphics, then I recommend you give Crazy Driver a try - just for a bit of light-hearted fun.
