Opening Up
You should have stayed home
The entire country is under a state of disaster. Civil liberties are being stripped, and police are allowed to conduct investigations without any interference. As Jonah Clay, a detective with the Barrenton police department, you are sent to investigate the home of a young man involved in a car accident earlier in the evening.
As if the circumstances behind searching this home weren’t strange enough, you quickly discover something is very, very wrong with this case.
Discover the truth
Opening Up is an exploration-based psychological horror game. You will explore a home, collect testimony, and uncover clues in order to find out the events that led up to the homeowner’s accident.
No-knock Raid
Take your time exploring the home, you will not be interrupted in any way. In Opening Up, there are no monsters or killers out to get you.

The game is a little clunky but some serious work was put into it and I found it very enjoyable. It had an interesting story to it and it made me uncomfortable in a "I know im in danger" sort of way. It jump scared me 3 times but they were good ones, lol. I liked it and cant wait to play the next game made from this creator!

A little slow at times with the dialogue but this game really surprised me! The ending was completely unexpected. Worth a shot if you got a couple extra bucks. You can check out my full playthrough if you want.

Not too optimized, but a nice story with a surprise ending.

If you're looking for a short horror game with compelling story this game may be for you. You also need to look past some of the frustrations (character moves too slowly, gets stuck on furniture easily, slow dialogue, frustrations of the character you're playing (why would he take the memo but not read it right away)). I got the game 75% off and felt that was a fair price. I wouldn't pay full price for it.
