Nobody – The Turnaround
There is only one heroism in the world: to see the world as it is, and to love it.
— Romain Rolland
Nobody – The Turnaround takes place in a parallel world similar to our current reality. The story unfolds in a modern metropolis, but not the concrete jungle as you know it. It’s more about the undergrowth, the much less glamorous neighborhoods where actual life happens.
“You” are one of the ordinary “Nobodies” in this world. You do not have a distinguished family background, elite education, or once-in-a-lifetime business opportunities. However, through hard work and determination, you might eventually get rid of your troubles and make your way in this realistic society.

Loads of negative reviews here. Here's a positive one.
I love this game. I bought it knowing that it'd unfortunately never be updated. It isn't the developers fault, they were stopped in their tracks.
The art, amazing.
The concept, amazing.
The feeling you get when you get this bloke a house, amazing.
The ai interactions, amazing.
I've played it for nearly 38 hours. I paid £8 I think. Bargain.
I really hope that one day the devs remake this game but in a different country. There are homeless people everywhere.

The game is awesome for what it is. Most people say the Dev's abandoned it but that's a lie. The devs are/where located in mainland China and when this game first came out it caused a bit of an uproar inside China with tons of Bots hating on this game, the dev's obviously got forced to stop working on this game.
Hope the devs get out of china someday and restart development of this game. Good luck!

Honestly, I really loved this game. I keep looking at the store page for updates or expansions, because it's just so well-made. I'm a bit shocked of all the negative reviews - honestly I have no idea why they're there. I played so many hours of this, and my only complaint is that there wasn't more content to play! (which is a great sign) I loved the realism, the way the game was actually challenging, and how you felt like you truly were working towards something. I failed many times in the beginning, so maybe that's why people are complaining, but to me it's a sign of a well-constructed game; that it's something you have to learn to get better at! I also loved the stories. I guess if I could put my finger on one thing, is that I missed a bit more story between the characters, as in, a little more depth. Other than that... I only wish the creators would make more of it!!

Don't give up your game is one of the best games it's just in the early Access so not every one will like it yet. Love the game Keep going.

i really enjoyed the game when i played it.
but the game has disappeared, leaving people to wonder whats going on for years now. some say it was shut down by china for displaying the underbelly of society, others say they lost the IP, had copyright issues, faced issues with competitors, or simply they just ran off and abandoned their game.
ultimately, all these assumptions are without any confirmation. i don't know either. it could be a conspiracy, or it really could just be something simple. we're likely to never get word on what happened. but you cant help but wonder.
it was/is a really great game

I bought it as soon as I could for $29.99 I think. They pulled it for hardware related issues with peoples pcs or something.. they said. They let anyone refund for any reason any length of play, I didn't because I like the game. I can't really think of any that plays like it. For whatever reason it was quietly refunded and they didn't take the game out of my library. Despite what the review bombs say that doesn't sound to me like they abandoned it on purpose but were forced to shut down due to their government not liking the portrayal of life there. You can't buy it on Steam but that shouldn't stop you...

i liked this game so far and i would appreciate a continuation of the story lines and eventually would suggest a multiplayer feature where people can try getting up together from a nobody to a hero but to archieve this de devs should consider to continuing working on this game and only than the community and the devs will be on a good basis
