Rebots
Rebots is a first-person management adventure game where you play as a new hire at the Rebots Corporation which specializes in terraforming asteroids to fit the needs of different alien species. You’ve been sent to a new exciting frontier known by the locals simply as “The Asteroid Field”. But due to cost cutting, your star cruiser had a rough landing and crashed into the local Spaceport. The inhabitants are a bit peeved at you, but it’s hard to tell how much is genuine frustration and what’s them trying to wring glibs out of you. Either way, you’re here now and it’s time to start your new job!
Experience a Galactic Adventure
In Rebots, you are given tools and options to interact and engage with the game at your own pace and how you see fit. You can either take on new contracts and quests to terraform asteroids and satisfy each alien’s need, or you can return to already settled aliens to help them become even more comfortable. Alternatively, you can go about exploring asteroids to scan and categorize a wide variety of wacky plants, resources, gasses and landmarks or find secrets hidden in the asteroid belt.
Terraform asteroids with your Rebots
Rebots are your trusty helpers, from the simple Worker all the way up to the Constructor. They are all uniquely qualified to be an important part of your crew and in order to terraform the asteroids, you will have to leverage all of their capabilities by connecting them together to automate the process.
Build alien communities
Besides the Rebots, you will meet a wide variety of quirky aliens with unique and fun personalities. Most aliens will reward you with new and interesting jobs, as well as rewards, so you can upgrade your operation.

I’ve been playing demo builds of Rebots for what feels like the better part of this decade (!!!) but jumping into this 1.0 release, and... wow! I’m genuinely amazed at how much it’s not only improved - so so so much fun zipping around this adorable space port.
I typically don’t even like automation games—they usually stress me out—but Rebots just feels different. It’s comfortable, goofy, and honestly, a lot of fun.
My 7 hours of playtime can be more or less chopped up into a bunch of different play sessions over the past years, I *know* that I'm going to loose another 10 at least to this game as I dive into over the coming weeks.
If you’ve ever been put off by other automation games, give Rebots a try. It’s got heart, humor, and a comfortable pace that just makes it a joy to play.
And cats. And dogs.

Very cool little game, a small galaxy with a lot of characters that have some great personalities, you feel like you know them after they hire you a few times.
The game is kinda like a Factorio superlight, you build simple "factory lines" at first, but unlock some more advanced options so you can juggle several lines at once, recipes for food and more complex electronics, customer houses and a few factory buildings.
But the real draw here is the artstyle, I am an absolute sucker for Nigel & Marmelade, and this game has kinda the same understated but great artstyle that is just chock full of personality and charm, I especially like the hippie customer arriving in some kind of octopus volkswagon van spaceship :)
If you like a very casual game with a little bit of problem solving and a ton of charm, then this might be for you.

First off, the art style is really cute. Second, it's a nice change of pace from most automation games. It's not as 'thinky' as some of the others, factorio comes to mind, not saying I don't enjoy those games. It's a welcomed change.

Good and silly game with eye for details and, yeah, silliness. If you like exploring, setting up production chains and, yeah, silliness. Then this if for you, if not go somewhere else to be serious :D

After more than an hour in the game, you can definitely see the passion the developers put into this game. It is an enjoyable game with even more enjoyable graphics. You can feel the satisfaction during the whole production line automation chain which I think is important in this type of game. Definitely recommended, I think even the biggest casual of this type of video game will stay with this game for a while

Played this with my kids, what a gem! The whimsical characters coupled with the robots and automation is a great way to get your kids into this genre!
The writing is fantastic, and the artwork is gorgeous and the characters are hilarious! Great game!
