In the aftermath of the war, Jean, a mighty thief, leaves her criminal organization to pursue her personal goal: recover the paintings of her brother. She is willing to do whatever it takes to get them back and avenge his legacy.

I really enjoyed this game, but I wish there was a bigger version with more content. It has great potential, and I'd love to see more areas, features, or challenges added in the future. Looking forward to what comes next!

Amazing short game that is completely free
There really isn't much to say. It's stealth, you use the shadows to move around, with some simple pathing puzzles to solve. Takes less than an hour to 100%, but it's a really fun time every second of it.
10/10, can't point out a single flaw with it

A unique stealth game with the ability to morph into shadow, with an intriguing story behind.
Despite possibly being a university project, the developer should definitely continue working on the game considering how much potential the game has.
★ 10/10, I'm looking forward to any future updates, and I'd also like to learn more about Jean and her brother.

An extremely short but extremely awesome stealth game.
The story doesn't really make that much sense. You're playing as a woman who, for some unknown reason, can possess shadows, shapeshift into a shadow and speak with ghosts and your missions is simple: find stuff that was stolen from her dead brother, who speaks with her through the whole game from the afterlife (who I assume got murdered by the mafia that stole his goods, in the first place).
In fact, I think the shadow - and all it's powers - could be her brother's. But why? When? How? The player never gets an answer, which is disappointing but still on par with the noir setting, which is mysterious.
The graphics, the soundtrack and the artstyle really get the job done in setting that film noir mood, further.
And the voice-acting is also pretty well done, with some VA's delivering their best italian from New York accent.
Honestly, this short experience REALLY needs to become a full-fledged game. Only two levels is crimminal.

Shadow Burglar was a super short and fun game, I loved the story of it and I honestly wished it was a little longer. The concept is super cool and I love the noir theme to the game. I also enjoyed the shadow mechanic, it was super satisfying the way you could move around. Overall really fun game.
