Seems like an interesting game. I can't read Chinese but it seems like a pretty good game from what I could understand.
Some tips for everyone who does want to attempt it anyways:
The game menu is something like New Game, Load Game, Settings, Quit
To save you have to visit a crystal that shows up on the map, and then you just interact with the save file you want to save on (1-6)
Enter or Space or Z can be used to interact with things
Directional keys or clicking can be used to navigate through maps or menus
Holding Shift will allow you to run with Directional keys
Press X to access the menu
The order in the menu is Inventory, Skills, Equipment, Stats, Abilities (Some kind of tree system with skill points), Formation, Quests (I think?), Settings, Quit
If you pick a menu item that allows you to pick a character then you can use Up or Down or click on the character you want to see
In battle the menu are Attack, Skills, Guard, (Not sure), Equipment
If you use Attack then you will attack up to 3 times if you correctly push the correct keys that appear (1 key for 2nd attack and 3 keys for the 3rd)
There is an elemental system that goes something like Fire > Wind > Earth > Water > Fire and some enemies are immune to their element
Guarding is a key command in this game because it regenerates 4 MP each time
Using Image translate OCR is a must for the Quest and Skill menu, and occasionally for the signs to know where to go.
I'll update this with more later if I figure out more. (P.S. the Lizard has a pretty sick fire AoE attack and getting the first skill in the 3rd tree makes it quite a bit better.)

It's a pretty good RPG game, the sprites are well made, nice music, simple but understandable battle mechanics, and not a bad story although a bit cliche. It sucks the game isn't translated in English. I translated the game on my own but it would be better if it was translated manually by a developer.

I grew up with this game and so naturally it means a lot to me... but as a professional game critic, i will not let this nostalgia blind me from stating the facts. This game has some glaring flaws. There you go, YOU happy now eh, you feel good about yourself, well i dont, so suck on that. The game doesnt support cross platform gaming, so my pals in Amsterdam (red light district) playing on the nintendo (tm) switch are unable to connect with me over here in the great US of A. I just got back from my anti disney world jesus march outside of maceroni barbeque and its taught me two things. 1 - this game needs improvement and 2- THE MEDIA SCHOOL SYSTEM AND ALL FORMS OF MODERN ENTERTAINMENT ARE PURELY THERE TO HYPNOTISE AND GAYIFY OUR YOUTH. im lookin at you mickey. This is one of the greatest video games released within the last decade.
The story and characters are heart warming and you always just want to know what happens next. All the characters have designs that make you go "ok well that looks kinda cool" and are some of the most memorable I've ever seen in any video game. Who could forget 托姆's brilliant coming of age tale. There are no one dimensional characters and everyone is fleshed out, even that one guy.
The gameplay is amazing, compared to all other RPGs this is a true breath of fresh air. 托姆 has a huge range of abilities ranging from launching brutal elemental water and fire attacks to powerful slashing attacks. The enemies are incredibly intelligent and will attack you with all they have. You need to use everything in 托姆's arsenal to take down the enemies because they won't be holding anything back. Grinding is completely removed as well, with all enemies being one time encounters, removing one of the worst elements of RPG gameplay. The game takes the simple yet proven RPG formula and improves on it in every way.
This game is excellent for anyone who doesn't know where to start in playing Chinese games. Anyone should be able to understand what the characters are saying no matter what their proficiency in the Chinese language is due to the excellently written dialogue and expressive character animations. I love China so much I love China. They are the true future of the world and soon the west will kowtow to China and accept that the one true center of the world. This game essentially proves that western game developers are no longer necessary as they cannot output any products which can even compare to this one in quality. I love Lao Gan Ma as well, love it. Taiwain, province of china, will soon be assimilated into the People's Republic of China.
Overall, I give this game an 8/10, it has some flaws but it is an amazing experience that everyone should experience at least once. I could not put it down until the end.
