Trackmania offers you the ultimate arcade racing universe where everything is about reaching the perfect racing time. Test your skills in over 200 tracks, experience immediate fun by challenging your friends at home (offline splitscreen) or online. • 4 ENVIRONMENTS = 4 GAMEPLAYS - Rollercoaster Lagoon: Defy gravity on magnetic tracks in a tropical paradise, - International Stadium: Use your driving skills to master this worldwide competition. - Canyon Grand Drift: Drift through narrow tracks in this red canyon landscape. - Down & Dirty Valley: Use air control and jump through this countryside setting.

A time trial racing game with 200 maps and 4 different environments for you to complete and conquer - there is a quick reset button so if you do crash you can restart the level instantly
As a huge player of all the trackmania series Turbo is actually a really good game - ignore the multiplayer as its dead and is not the core part of the game - the main element is the single player campaign in which you time trial increasingly difficult tracks built over 4 environments
The game has fun music, nice visuals, good mechanics and the time trial aspect of trying to achieve bronze silver gold and trackmaster medals is a gameplay loop that doesnt get boring for me
If you manage to complete all 200 tracks then you are also rewarded with the ability too challenge for Super trackmaster medals which are times set by professional trackmania players
This game goes on 50% sale a lot so if you are considering it then id pick it up then - also I would recommend installing Open Planet which are community plugins/addons built to show things like medal times etc
8/10 Overall - fun game with a huge amount of content that almost always is on sale

I've had alot of fun playing this game. It's got a really good Campaign and Multiplayer in my opinion. I'm new to playing on keyboard I'm in the Green Series as of posting this. 4 days irl, 14H in-game. pls try it It's not like your traditinal race game. I don't know how to spell that. It's just time attack can't interact with other players only the course itself. 5 stars in my opinion. It is frustrating sometimes tho.

fun and unique twist on trackmania, gives it a more arcadey feel. definitely recommend it if youre willing to engage with it as a spinoff with major differences from mainline games, and you can stomach installing uplay or whatever its called now. ubisoft connect? idk
very challenging though, and later campaign tiers require either silver or gold in all previous tracks, luckily theres a pity system thatll give you a free "joker silver" (if you get 3 bronzes in a row on the same track) or "joker gold" (3 silvers in a row), marking that track as silver or gold for unlocking tracks (not for actual completion) so you can play through most of the campaign even if youre having trouble getting gold times.
i used to have issues with the game randomly crashing since i play on linux, havent experienced that again on reinstall though.
i have not played VR at all so im speaking only for the base game which is very solid on its own, if youre intending to play this only for the VR though you might wanna skip, it has a limited track selection.
edit: there seems to be an "enable vr" plugin for openplanet thatll enable vr mode on any track. obviously havent tried it but that might fix the issue of limited track selection for anyone playing in vr

After getting all Trackmasters I can say: I think this is a game about cars, or something? I dunno, I lost track of time at some point and am trying to improve by .1 of a second on an 18 second track at 4AM. I have a problem, and the only solution is more racing. I hope.
Anyway uh, yeah, if you like speedrunning, or time trials, this is a game you should try out. The last 40 tracks are really hard, and for many they seem impossible, given that the numbers of people on the leaderboards dropped harsh around those.

The VR campaign makes me wanna run around on the floor like Homer Simpson going all woo woo woo woo woo.

good game but would be better if it runs only through steam

This game is my favorite of the series, but also I hate this campaign, the best aspect is the music for this one
