About the GameFeel the beat as wannabe rockstar Chai and his ragtag team of allies rebel against an evil robotics enhancement megacorp with raucous rhythm combat! From Tango Gameworks, the studio that brought you The Evil Within® and Ghostwire®:Tokyo (no, really) comes Hi-Fi RUSH, an all-new action game where the characters, world and combat stylishly sync to the music!
Arcade Challenge! Update!
Test your abilities in two new game modes, uncover new rewards and even a few secrets in this free update to Hi-Fi RUSH, The Arcade Challenge! Update!
BPM RUSH tasks players to battle waves of enemies to music with a steadily increasing BPM or beats per minute. As you defeat each wave and tackle toughened-up new foes, the BPM will speed up to the next level, up to a whopping 200 BPM in the final stages!
Power Up! Tower Up! is a twist on the Rhythm Tower mode that players unlock after their first playthrough. You’ll be climbing up floors and defeating waves of enemies, but this time you’ll be powering up a downgraded Chai with randomized Upgrades!
The Arcade Challenge! Update! also contains additional content for players to earn through challenges and discover in-game, including poses for Photo Mode, t-shirts for Chai, Photo Mode stickers, extra outfits and even Special Attacks starring CNMN and Smidge, everybody’s favorite mechanical friends.

Isn't it ironic that a game about corporate greed gets shutdown by corporate greed?

This game made me realise how depressed I was, it ignited a spark in me and I seriously can't recommend this game enough it's almost perfect and worth every penny I spent from the characters to combat to ost its all just top notch this has become one of my favourite games of all time and I look forward to continue playing it
9.5/10
Fuck microsoft for shutting down the studio

It's one of the greatest games ever made, and is probably the best introduction to character action games the genre has ever seen.
So, of course, they immediately executed the studio.

you had one of the most innovative, creative, head-banging and purely FUN games released this decade on your hands microsoft, with absolutely no filler - new mechanics, levels, humorous characters, unique enemies and visuals back to back to back thrown at you every single hour after hour
but nooooo you just couldn't scratch that itch and not be a giant asshole and a massive, glowing tumor in the industry, so you had to fire the entire studio, right? just to keep your slimy, uncaring, dumbass executives and investors happy and make another fucking call of duty this year because you can't help but absorb every single promising studio just to throw them in the trash once your irresponsible spending catches up to you
to even have the courage to say how poor, little you "needs more smaller games :(" while kicking the award-winning people out your front door overnight is just pathetic and shameful, seriously go fuck yourself and remember that pirating windows is always morally acceptable
I can't even imagine what a soul-crushing and heartbreaking of a feeling it must be for the hard working and skilled developers right now during the layoff season, to see their vision get thrown out the window like that, let's hope they will stay together, create their own studio and independently create another masterpiece like this one
edit: WE ARE SO BACK

Really good, full of charm and character. It's so bright and fun it always took me off guard when they killed people.
The first level is the worst - the necessary tutorialising is a bit grating.
Feels a bit rushed in a couple of points (Turns out there was a cut level)
The combat *can* feel a lil jank in spots but it's probably me just being bad and or some enemies just working on offbeats
Can't wait to see what they do next...oh wait

I almost want to give this game a negative for the devs losing their job after making this amazing game. What a world we world we live in where developers that make an awesome game get fired and ones that make a shitty one keep theirs.
