Critter Kart
Critter Kart is an action-filled racing game featuring a variety of fluffy critters. Players can earn pointstreak rewards as they race to gain access to more powerful abilities. Players may race alone, or with up to three other friends in splitscreen matches.
Critter Kart currently features 5 unique locations, 11 playable characters, and 8 pointstreak rewards to add gameplay variety. Races can be customized to suit any session length or playstyle by giving players the freedom to choose the number of karts, laps, and the difficulty of their opponents.
While Critter Kart’s explosive physics-driven gameplay allows players to blast opponents off the track and make them spiral through the air, options exist for players to ease motion sickness including: permanent kart armor which prevents enemies from sending the player flying, comfort blinders that ease in with movement, and a fully-static arcade mode that allows players to grab the virtual steering wheel without motion sickness.
Supported Input Devices: Xbox Controller, Dualshock 4, Logitech G920 Racing Wheel, Oculus Touch, Vive Wands

I have to admit, this is not what I would call a good game. However, I had a lot of fun playing it. You're getting a fun little Mario Kart type arcade racer for VR for only $5 (or $3 bucks like me during the Steam Winter Sale 2019). Given the low price, I think we can look past some of its shortcomings.
I only played this game in singleplayer. There are currently 5 tracks, each with a different theme. While you have several different critters racers to choose from, I don't think they make any difference.
What I absolutely enjoyed about this game, is that unlike other kart racers for VR, you actually use your motion controllers here to grab on to the steering wheel. Steering actually works well this way. You can also hit the gas, brake, use the handbrake, fire missiles, reset position (re-center), jump, use your special weapon, and quickly look behind you. This game makes use of every button on your Touch controller, to mostly good effect.
However, this is absolutely an arcade racer and so it's not very strategic in singleplayer. You don't really have to carefully navigate turns or anything, just not drive horribly and keep the pedal to the metal. That's because the VR armor setting is on by default to help you out. That means that other racers can't missile you and throw you up in the air, spinning you around mid-air. However, you can easily missile the enemy AI racers (they sometimes will have temporary armor).
There are 3 difficulties: easy, medium, and hard. Honestly though, the real difficulty is that VR armor setting. Turn that off and you now have a pretty challenging racer. And you will be jettisoned up and you'll go spinning around and around. Yeah, that's only for VR veterans! There are comfort setting as well and video / sound settings.
Sale Price Rating 7/10. This game is a steal at the listed price. Sure, objectively, it's not a good racer, especially if you're comparing it to Mario Kart! However, for the price it's amazing it is actually as fun as it is. Great job dev!

Great fun with friends in splitscreen, and has a good variety of playable characters. VR mode is particularly fun and well executed with intuitive controls.

A fun and challenging racing game that is awesome for multiplayer split screen play. Well-designed maps and a fun combat system with cool powerups make it enjoyable to play both with friends and against the surprisingly challenging AI racers.

good game overall, feels like mariocart but in a better version. this game would be very fun if you could play online against other people. overall a goodgame, but with a too small playerbase.
