I don't know how to feel about this game.
It has the feeling of a Student project, and from that metric it's pretty solid. However, this isn't their first game, so I expect it's more of a "Group of friends making games".
There are some great ideas in the game:
Neat ideas:
Gear determines skills
You can jump. In a Hack&Slash ARPG. Jumping actually has uses.
Neutral idea:
The talent system is open and about as interesting as any other similar passive system (Sphere grid, POE, etc)
Could use work:
The moment to moment gameplay feels stifled and stiff
Optimization
To the devs:
Keep working on this, plug away at optimization. You've definitely got a gem worth polishing here.
