My Hotel: Echoes of the Past
Full Version
the Game Hotel: Echoes of the Past! Welcome to the intrigue of the 1950s, where mystery cloaks every corner of My Hotel. Ensure you’re in the loop by adding the game to your Steam Wishlist for the full, thrilling story.
You’ve just landed the role of a lifetime: owner of a hotel that’s seen better days. It’s like stepping into a 1950s adventure movie – the previous owner’s mysterious end, a hotel riddled with secrets, and now, it’s all yours.
Your quest: to transform this relic into a beacon of style and history. Choose from a range of furnishings that span decades, each with its own story to tell.
But it’s not just about the décor. The guests are as varied as they are mysterious, some with quests that will draw you into a tangle of alliances and covert affairs.
Balance these factions carefully to keep your hotel thriving and avoid a fate like your predecessor’s. It’s a game where adventure meets history, and every decision you make is a part of the legend.

Artstyle is interesting, I like the aesthetics (the grainy effect).
Gameplay is engaging, but it is more about the quests and fulfilling the objectives than managing hotel economics themselves (at least in this demo).
There are some visual & gameplay bugs, but they are minor issues. Only big problem I had is with understanding the bar mechanics.
Audio is nice, but there could be more tracks.
Overall, worth checking out :)

It's a decent game. I am good at glitch testing and i'v already found many flaws to how the mechanics work. You can easily duplicate furniture for free without spending a penny. You can bring the furniture out into the lobby. you can also get floating furniture which gets you stuck in that room and they have no collision. Don't worry i'm not posting any of these as videos or tutorials anywhere but just let you know these are possible and probably would need fixing.

the game seemed interesting. I liked the dialogues just the skiping time (naping) would be better if i could skip it to specific events. Overall interesting game, looking forward to next updates.

No bins!!!!!!
Ok I have played through three or four times now, and got completely different results every time, so I am very impressed.
I absolutely adore the graphics and the idea, but as process trees go this is a very wide spreading shrub rather than a tall tree at the moment, so the more elements that can be added of the actual hotel business the better. My suggestion to the devs is some staff to flesh it sidewqys a bit more and allow more random guests with stories.
I watched a pro gamer try to play it earlier today and it was laughably bad because she wasn't considering it as a storyline at all.
If you like serious styling, edifying short stories and rats, this is the game for you.
BUT WHY NO BINS!!!!!?

I went into this prologue expecting a traditional hotel simulator type of game set in the 1950s. Not quite what I experienced, but I still enjoyed playing it. All the quests involving mafia/cops/etc. were an interesting twist. My only critique is that there wasn't really much to do with actually taking care of the hotel. The majority of my playtime was spent dealing with the quests. I just wanted a bit more of the cleaning, decorating, up-keeping of rooms. Still a nice prologue and I look forward to the full release.
ETA: I jumped back into the prologue today as I wanted to reach the 'end' of the prologue. I reached the end of day 10 and the game froze and wouldn't allow me in any way to close it. ALT + F4, task manager, closing steam - nothing worked. I had to restart my computer. I still enjoyed the prologue, but what an aggravating way to end it.

A very cool prologue (even though most of the achievements doesnt seem to work). Its good to see what the idea behinf the game is. There are obviously many room for improvements, like seeing the stats of the factions, buying lockpicks or finding keys, ordering bar stuff, maybe even serve bar quests, and so on. But it is really cool and well made. Its totally worth checking out

If the Devs put a little more thought into the movement and the keys then it would be a much better game, you can't put things down at all. the graphics are low end as well. But other than that if they get those figured out then it would be a really cool game.
