About the Game
Work your own hours. Be your own boss.
One quick phone call and, Congratulations! You’re the new mayor of Go-Go Town; a rundown tourism destination, well past its prime. Just like its residents…
Build
With some guidance from the elderly residents of Go-Go Town, you’ll soon learn the ‘ins and outs’ of being town Mayor, starting with constructing and repairing buildings. It’s all in the name of encouraging more tourists to visit!
But don’t worry, work will be a breeze with your tools – chainsaws, drills, trimmers, leaf blowers, and other power tools are at your disposal.
And once you’ve repaired the run-down buildings, decorated the town, and constructed a few new shops, it’s time to put your planning hat on.
Manage
You’ll need to make sure everything is running smoothly.
Making decisions about what shops to build, who will run them, how the shops will generate an income, and how to manage the supply chains to the shops, all while making sure your infrastructure is sound to avoid any major catastrophes.
Will you build an arcade with a dance game and neon lights? But then again, wouldn’t it be great to have a burger joint in town? And what goes better with a burger, than somewhere to buy ice cream and milkshakes. And what about souvenirs? Who wouldn’t want a memento from Go-Go Town!
Automate
Running a town will keep you busy, but don’t worry – Your residents are eager to lend a hand!
Expand your industries by hiring miners, fishermen, lumberjacks or farmers; Boost your towns commerce by hiring shopkeepers, artisans, and hotdog sellers; And get those goods flowing to where they need to be with a team of couriers!
With the right combination of tools, strategies, and infrastructure your town will be a well-oiled machine.
Expand
Soon you’ll find that your busy little town needs more room to grow!
Through the tech tree you’ll be able to unlock features like terraforming, which will allow you even more control over how you grow your town. Larger houses, buildings such as art galleries, and a greater variety of objects that allow you to add your own personal touches to each and every block.
Prosper
But all of the hard work you’ve put into Go-Go Town will not go unnoticed!
Word about your deeds will spread, and soon tourists will be flocking to town. With money to spend, they will be looking to Go-Go Town to provide places where they can get food and be entertained, benches where they can rest, and beautiful scenery that they can post on social media.
Some of them may just love it enough that they’ll want to move into town.

I'm more obsessed with this game than I thought I would be. Everything really comes together once you've got your resource zones and couriers set up. They require so little micromanaging that it allows me to just have fun and play with the town layout.
And if I wanna chill from town planning, I can just play around in the resource zones, work on export missions, or just explore the area and watch the townies go about their business. I can't wait to see what new assets will be added to really jazz up the town!
Also, I appreciate that there's no combat. Just an awesome chill city builder game. :D

wew approved? YES, YES, and YES! (cuteness overload!)
Go-Go Town is a cozy casual game. I think it can be considered as a management sim? After all, you are the mayor in charge of the town (you may or may not be kidnapped a ha ha).
It’s basically Animal Crossing, BUT with lesser restriction and faster progression. Unfortunately, as a person with quite a low attention span, I was not able to enjoy the AC series to their fullest due to the real-time system (always envied how others have such aesthetic decoration)… But now I have Go-Go Town :D
This game really fulfilled what I’ve always wanted to do in AC (some parts remind me of a certain trash raccoon… haha).
The game is currently in Early Access, but the game as it is currently already offer a lot of gameplay. I’ve been playing for almost 3/4 days straight WITHOUT SLEEP (addiction is real, please avoid at all cost). Personally, I really love decorating the town, I’m really looking forward to what the devs are going to add in the future (hopefully more customisation and automation!).
Overall, I think I really like this game, and am hopeful that it’ll just get better. 8/10 for now as there is still room for improvement!
PS: I’m playing it on the Steam Deck, and I think it works great! I do find that playing it on the PC is more flexible, so hopefully they’ll improve the controls on the SD in the future.

I bought this game less than 24 hours ago and I've already played for 9.5 hours. I play a lot of management games, but there's something different about this one. And there is so much to do in this game! The game does a great job of tiptoeing you into growing your town without overwhelming or handholding you. It is highly addicting and runs fantastic on Steam Deck.

Listen. Just get it. Get this game.
I know you've been looking for a farming sim, maybe with some city building elements, but is this really what you're looking for? And the matter of the fact is, this game is not what you're looking for, simply because you didn't know all of this goodness existed in a game.
Get your very own Hugh Mahn (who is definitely just a regular human) to water your spuds, high five a chicken, find some very curious "vehicles" to ride around your town, maybe you'll even play some chess. And in the meantime, you will build and expand your town and various farming zones supported by amazing quality of life implementations and great ways to create the town YOU want. Terraforming is so easy and decorating feels aesthetically pleasing and rewarding, and I haven't even mentioned how stunning the game looks!
Currently, the game is still in development and there are multiple ways to quickly and easily provide feedback if you want to get involved! I was hooked after 10 minutes of playing the demo and within a few days after getting the game I already managed to get 40+ hours in. Go-Go Town doesn't take itself too seriously and the silliness is a much needed breath of fresh air for a farming and automation game.
Now while you finish up getting the game, I'll be drifting through my town on a tooting unicorn. Yeeeeehaw!

This game is unexpectedly addictive and absolutely delightful. I’ve spent more time than I’d like to admit carefully designing my town, managing supply chains, and pretending I'm some kind of cozy industrial tycoon. The resource gathering and objective-based unlocks are genuinely satisfying—perfect for those who love structured progression and a good to-do list.
Even in early access, the game offers a solid foundation. It’s clear the developers are putting in the work, and I’m excited to see where it goes. That said, content-wise, it’s a bit like a delicious snack—enjoyable, but over a little too soon. I hit the current endgame faster than I expected, but I’m hopeful future updates will keep me coming back for more.
Now, let’s talk about the workers. Bless them, but their storage habits are… chaotic. Imagine painstakingly sorting your inventory, only to have someone walk in and throw rocks on top of your perfectly stacked cement. Every. Single. Time. It’s a minor gripe, sure—but if you’re the type who organizes their desktop icons by color and category, this might drive you mildly insane. (Still love them, though.)
Overall, it’s a relaxing and engaging game with tons of charm and real potential. I only stopped playing because, well, humans need sleep. If this is just early access, I can’t wait to see the polished version—hopefully with smarter storage etiquette.

I'm someone who suffers from aphantasia so layouts and building things is an absolute nightmare for me. I was so incredibly hesitant to purchase this game for that reason because I've played Dinkum and Animal Crossing and I just don't enjoy them and end up overwhelmed.
Go Go Town is the first building town / decoration game that I have already reached the end of the ranks and am just decorating my town now. It's super easy to move everything around, it runs super smooth, the animations are so cute and I love finding what I can interact with. I'm already desperately waiting for more content before I'm even finished with what I have now.
If you're hesitant about building games because you've never had much luck with them before, I suggest you try Go-Go Town for sure. 10/10 for cozy and easy creativity.

This game is amazing, BUT after you "beat it" there's not much to do and I really don't want this game to die so fast like this, so they really should bring some kind of "unlimited aventure", like the "infinite" caves system from stardew valley for an example, it's brilliant, they should do something similar for the game to last, especially among those who love the keep exploring...
