KILLBUG
Welcome, Killbug, to the underbelly of the insect realm, where the skittering masses are caught in an endless battle for dominance.
You threatened them with your power. They clipped your wings and forced you into exile, but it was not enough to sate their hatred. A ravenous ambush awaits, and they want you dead.
Blade and barrel hungry for blood. Thirsty for the sweet nectar of revenge.
You will make them suffer, and from carapace to thorax, they will know pain.
As the Killbug, use your insectoid instincts to dash, double-jump and wall-run your way around the endless arena. Combine these fluid movement mechanics to reach enemies in all areas of this brutal battleground.
Slash and shoot your way through droves of ravenous beasts. From beetles to spiders to a giant larvae monster, there are endless swarms for you to butcher as the Killbug.
Become the master of death as you rise again and again, raining destruction on your foes and aiming for your next high score. Crush those bugs, over and over.

Fantastic game. Some of the most solid and fleshed out FPS mechanics I've ever had the pleasure of playing. The wall walking, ground pounds, knife dashes, it all flows perfectly and seamlessly to culminate into one of the most fantastic FPS experiences I've ever had. You are a bug in an arena, and you go till you die, thats it. Simple concept, but few could of executed it so well. Difficult, but in all the right ways.
The only negative that comes to mind is the lack of content. One arena, one gun, one knife, one boss. Once you've beat "the boss" (about 10 minutes in if you survive), that's pretty much it. It just loops to a slightly more difficult version of the previous round. The first half of my playtime was spent figuring out the groove of the mechanics, the second half was getting better with every round. Now I'm not crying about a whopping $2 price difference from what I feel the game is worth, but I did expect a bit more content than what I got for the price. $5 is the perfect price for the amount of content you're getting, in my opinion.
Great game, none the less.

Fun movement, enjoyable weapons, reasonable price.
Well worth your money if you enjoy arena FPS

a ton of fun with a super tight movement kit. feels great moment-to-moment, and I like the small space. could've used a bit of progression or some alternate arenas, maybe, but still a treat for what it is~

only played about an hour, but for $3 AUD, this game is a steal. very similar to devil daggers or hyper demon with mechanical depth allowing for some great skill expression. Also the leaderboards are fun, wish more games had leaderboards like this one.

for the price, you literally cannot beat this game.
fast-paced combat with refreshing yet familiar mechanics, and a wide-variety of both engaging and unique enemies.
i can’t say i’ve ever seen a game where your job is to eliminate every bug in sight as a praying mantis, but now that i’ve played killbug, let me say, after experiencing it, it’s a very awesome concept.
pretty much no storyline, but your objective in this game is to not hard to understand, you have a sword and a gun and your job is to get thru as many enemies as possible, and the leaderboard is literal icing on the cake. i’ve only played for around a half an hour and i’m already within the top 7k which honestly idk if that’s good or not but i’m enjoying it a lot.
if you like games similar to ultrakill or really just any arena shooter where your job is to eliminate enemies until you die, then yeah this game is for you. it’s perfect for players of all skill levels, simply just play until you get good at it, or just play for fun honestly doesn't matter as long as you enjoy the experience.
so yeah, 10/10, not much else to say. i got the game for like $1.78 on sale which is a STEAL, but even for full price this game is worth the money.

One of few perfect killroom games. There seems to always be one more enemy or amazing move or techique to execute if you survive for juuuuuuust a moment longer.

You play as a girlbug hellbent on ridding australia of its terrors with a gun and sword. Absolute GOTY.
I only wish there were more levels (aside from the one) but that's about my only gameplay complaint.
Other things I wish were the option to disable the crosshair (hinders my depth perception)) unless i missed that option, and for the gun/sword to be have a higher viewmodel FOV (them being so close makes me feel 'cramped' (this also hinders my depth perception).
Purity in form and execution, get this game.
