Touge Shakai
Touge Shakai (Mountain Pass Society) is an online Touge Racing Game based on Japanese car culture in the 90s. With an emphasis on balance between realism and fun gameplay, the physics are tailored for competitive drift racing, while giving a challenge to all players.
The driving physics are mainly simulated, but not to the extent of hardcore racing simulators. The driving characteristics of each car is tailored to be distinctly different from each other, and require drivers to master different driving styles to bring out the best in each car. The objective is to be fun while remaining believable. However, there’s a twist to the driving physics: Drifting is faster than grip driving for most rear-wheel drive vehicles.

Game modes
Time Attack
Race against the clock with various cars and courses to improve your pace and compete on the leaderboards. Players can also challenge the “ghosts” of other players, which are apparitions of their previous runs to learn from their driving. Medals are awarded with target timings, and provides progression for customization for each car.
PvP Battle
Classic touge-style battle. Battles rules include “First to finish” and “Cat and Mouse”. Cat and Mouse has a leader and a chaser, with the leader trying to pull away and the chaser trying to keep up. The leader wins when they finish the course by a fixed distance from the chaser, while the chaser wins if they manage to overtake by the finish. The race moves on to the next round in a draw, with their positions reversed. Cat and Mouse mode is recommended as it provides the fairest battle, as overtaking is difficult and dangerous on the touge.
Team battles consist of multiple PvP Battles ongoing at the same time, with the team with the most wins coming out on top.
Free Ride
Practice, socialize and start impromptu races with others on the touge and just have fun! Learn from others and enjoy the course without the pressure of winning or losing. Showcase your rides and hang out with other racers and teams.

No other game out there has offers this style of racing since Tokyo Extreme Drift 2. The option to make the game more arcade like or be a great sim is mind blowing. Couldn't recommend more. Whys spnend $70 and pay a subscription fee every month for subpar content, when you can play a well crafted game and spend 10 hours over 2 sessions just trying to get a half decent time on one track. Its addicting and after you have put more time into it than any AAA game, you will only have scratched the surface.
Long live chill gaming

I'LL LOVE YOU FOREVER, BUT PLEASE DON'T SAY NEVER

I just slammed 4 hours in one day on this game. I can honestly say it's such a BLAST to play, especially in multiplayer and/or with a friend. I absolutely love the ability to customize the soundtrack to your liking (ofc it's all EuroBeat for me). It takes some time to get used to the handling but the satisfaction you feel when you nail a drift chain and some hairpins is worth it.
Some cars are better than other cars on certain tracks, like the Suzuki Cappuccino will beat anything on a tight track, but it will get destroyed on tracks with high speed corners and straight lines, which is a nice way to balance the game in my opinion.
I totally recommend this game if you are into touge racing, money well spent on my part.
One thing I would like to be added though is the possibility to have separate garage music because it feels weird to have high energy racing music when you want to chill in the garage customizing your car.

Most of the negative review is talking about how it's a downgrade from initial unity which is not entirely wrong and i also think like that at first and i still kinda do in terms of handling and ui. While the handling might feel worst at first it really grows on me now and i kinda like it more because it's feel more challenging. The problem here is people should've reviewed the game itself and not from comparing it to initial unity and im sure if initial unity isn't a thing this game would've got atleast 90%+ positive. Also, it's early access more content will be added soon.

So.. As a person who loved the original initial unity, this feels different. Not a bad different but not a good. I love the new features, as customizing the cars is absolutely huge! However things that feel weird or differ are apparent. First being the handling somehow it feels so much tighter like I am on a tight rope. The cars feel weightless unlike how they felt in unity my biggest example would be between the 86's and rx7s. I love this game however I have a maxed out integra already as well as the s2k. If you are coming from unity this game will feel completely new and different but that's not all bad. Extremely excited to see whats in the future.

Having over 60 hour in this game, plus managing 4 ,,Specialist,, time attacks, and breaking a all time course record, I can say that this game is goddamn fantastic, even if it's hard at first, once you learn the physics and how each car steers and feels, it becomes a joyride, plus the BGM feature which I love so much that I have in total 65 new songs in game.

very fun, super easy to get into and drift but also super easy to mess up and ruin the drifts. Takes a little bit to get used to but having clean laps is super rewarding
