Shrine of Tails

Short version - very interesting, artistic, erotic game. Treats itself more seriously then most erotic games, and that enhances the experience. Unfortunately brought down by a few bugs. Still worth playing, and supporting, I'd be very curious what the creators could do next.
Long version:
The game caught my attention because of it's artwork, which is really gorgeous, and different from a standard, smooth, typical hentai-game affair. Some may not take liking to it, but as an artist I know how much time and effort must've cost to make so many quality arts for a game, that was made by (from what I gather) only 2 people. This is an achievement. I love the UI, and the sound effects, which are also very well placed. The story is very interesting. I could sense that there's more to this world, and some aspect of it really intrigued me. Not much is explained, but what is there still feels consistent, and gives out the impression of layers underneath what's happening. Very mysterious. I like that it takes itself seriously - most erotic games just joke around all the time, but eroticism in games should not be only about it. There is so much more, that games can do with it, introducing us to the unknown worlds, where erotic things happen, without feeling juvenile all the time. A step into right direction.
Unfortunately the programming is what caused me problems. There are bugs, that make the game unreliable. In my 70 minutes experience I got mysteriously sent back from one battle to a battle I had previously in a moment I clearly wasn't supposed to, one of my saves (despite having the right thumbnail) start sending me to an earlier part of the game, language change to Russian for two options (luckily for me I know the letters, so I could guess what they say), and I think at one point I got locked out of the encounter, but I'm not sure, maybe there was something I could do. But all of that made even following the story by loading saves in the places where the choices are made - unreliable. The game just jumped around from time to time, leaving me unsure where I did something wrong, and where the game did.
The type of combat itself also took me out of the experience. I was exploring these ancient hallways, talking with beautiful, mysterious creatures... and then I was playing rock-paper-scissors. That was the only part that made me roll my eyes. And the random nature of this game just left me clicking thoughtlessly, because I felt like I have no agency. Especially later, when one of the opponents clearly should not be passed, therefore it cheats and always picks in response to Your choice, revealing that Your success pretty much depends on what is programmed, with a sprinkle of random chance. I would love to see something else being implemented in future SHEDUSoft titles.
Despite all that I do think that the game is worth playing and yes - paying for. This is a very small, indie title, but the artistry on display, the concept, and choices made by developer really show me, that they are capable of great things. And therefore I'm happy I could add to the support. If You like the artwork, and feel up for a short, adult adventure, this is a place to go. Just be aware that You may not have as much control as You're used to in other games. Both story-wise, and mechanically.

I saw SHEDUSoft lead developer in electronics store yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and making rock-paper-scissors gestures in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Steam gift cards in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to search for ancient artifacts and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the gift cards and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any erotical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each card and put them in a bag and stated the price, he kept trying to pay for them in Shrine of Tails activation keys.

wonderful music, beautiful art and design overall. gameplay is smooth, story is thought-provoking. great titjob.
