A really dumb and constantly loud FPS game with super sweary dialogue, the characters speak like 13 year olds in a COD4 lobby. Most of the dialogue isn't very funny but a few jokes made me laugh pretty hard. Someone said they would kill my dick.
It's like you're trying to play an FPS game while someone is screaming "AAAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGHH!!!!" in your ear the whole time.
The combat is really fun and the skillshot system is pretty addictive. Basically you're scored on killing enemies in stylish ways. Crouch slide in to a guy then blow him in half with a shotgun, kick a guy on to a cactus, set a guy on fire then launch him in to the air and blow him to bits with gibs raining everywhere. That kind of thing.
There's only 8 different guns in the game but most of them are very cool including a triple barrelled shotgun which instantly ragdolls enemies and a cannonball launcher.
It's also the most Unreal Engine 3 looking game ever made, if you've played Gears Of War you'll see it straight away. Every character is a jacked weight lifter and at times it really looks like you're playing a first person GOW.
It runs perfectly and looks mostly great.
Get it.

still waiting for Bulletstorm 2
(EDIT)
On second taught i hope they don't make one. After the forced profanity filter shit with bulletstorm vr. God knows what baby game sensitive bullshit they are gonna make out the sequel.

If you're looking for a quick 10ish hour drug fueled linear action adventure with corny dialogue and stereotypical characters; this is the one for you.
In a market where it seems that every game has an open world, crafting, perks, leveling up, and inventory management; Bulletstorm is a blast from the past with crazy big guns, over the top set pieces, and just putrid violence.
Go forward, shoot gun.
God I miss this era of video games.

Fun gameplay and hilarious dialogue from each characters in the story.
This game came out in 2011 and it was during the time when games was actually fun and developers actaully put in the work.

It's loud, explosive and unbelievably stupid.
I love every second of its versatile action filled with comical levels of testosterone and adrenaline.
I mean, the guy can't even press a button to use an elevator. HE PUNCHES THE THING.
Aesthetically, in terms of style and sonically, it is a game that quite evokes a Gears of War vibe (Slightly more colorful), of foul-mouthed action heroes with harsh voices and no neck, blowing things up to the sound of bombastic symphonies and heavy metal.
The rhythm is considerably more fast-paced, intense and arcadey, with increasingly absurd set-pieces being poured out in an gratuitous but glorious way.
The story is very chaotic and has the best aggressive cliches in the world.
At that time there was nothing like it and it was a breath of fresh air amidst the abyss of military shooters. Hell, there's still nothing like it today.
It's a non-stop barrage of stupidity, which perhaps won't have much lasting appeal. But if you wallow in this kind of mindless, cathartic action and can laugh at bad jokes missing the mark by miles, welcome to the party.
Bulletstorm is straight to the point, absolutely insane and is spectacular.
P.S: You can shoot enemies' balls and get rewarded for it.

Bulletstorm was just as good as I remember it being. Silly, cheesy fun with solid controls, great gunplay, and the "hook," the leash, is great at setting up and executing great skillshots throughout the game. I thoroughly enjoyed it when it first came out and revisiting it was a treat. Full disclosure: I did not revisit Echoes mode and did not play through the Duke Nukem campaign. The 10 solid hours I spent in the main campaign was enough for me.

Don't miss your leg day
Multiplayer is dead, but the campaign is perfect: good old-fashioned FPS that kicks and you kick and some enemies also kick, but mostly you.
