It is a really cute and relaxing game where you get to run your own little spa for capybaras. The gameplay is pretty simple. You basically take care of the capybaras, collect resources, decorate your spa, and unlock new things as you play. The main thing you will be doing is giving the capybaras baths. They will hop into the baths and sometimes ask for food while they are relaxing. At first, you only have a few things to give them, like carrots, but you can grow more ingredients and unlock different foods as you level up. Taking care of the capybaras gives you points, and you can use those points to unlock new items, upgrade the spa, and decorate the island. You can also get different types of baths as you progress, so there is always something new to unlock. I really like how simple the gameplay loop is. You take care of the capybaras, earn some points, use them to upgrade your spa, and then unlock more things to keep going. It's easy to pick up and doesn't feel too stressful.
One thing I didn't like was how bright the colors were. The colors are quite bright, and after playing for a while, I started to feel like they were a little hard on my eyes. I usually prefer softer and more muted colors, so I think that would have worked better for me. I also ran into a bug a few times where I could pick up a capybara but couldn't put it back down. I had to restart the game each time to fix it. I didn't lose any of my progress after restarting, but it was still a little annoying when it happened.

A super cozy little game. It’s really nice for passing the time, and big bonus points to the creator of the game. Several of us had trouble getting 100% achievement completion on Steam because of a small bug somewhere, but we contacted her on their Discord and it didn’t take long before the problem was fixed. So thanks to them for listening to the people who play their game — 10/10 for the service!

Please get this game. It's cute, adorable, precious, sweet, and relaxing and the achieves are fun and easy. If you like increasing your perfect games number this one will do it. It's one of those games that even after you get all the achieves, you still want to play it.

A charming little spa for capybaras!! It reminds me a lot of little mobile games I used to play in the 2010's but with capybaras, I recommend!

Capybara Spa
I like this game it's super cute but unfortunately I have to downvote.
I'll change my rating if the achievements are fixed! which isn't atm.
To the dev :
Thanks for reaching out. I've updated the game and when I went back everything was gone like a reset.
I'm back to 0 and I was level 10. :(
I am changing my rating as promised, thanks for fixing everything!
I will just add for the soap part I was expecting the ladybug to pick up the flowers and add them to the soap since her job is to pick up flowers, it's not a big deal honestly but I just thought I'll mention it.
I also didn't see the otter which is a shame, I did get the achievement and the in game notification that an otter has visited the spa, but he did not appear on my screen, I still waited over 15 mins just in case. :( again it's not a big deal but I'm mentioning it, just to be helpful.
Well now that I've finished Capybara Spa, can we get a panda version xD sorry I had to ask!
Thanks again !

Why you should or should not play Capybara Spa
Before You Read
Every review on my profile is based on my own personal experience with a game. My opinions aren't facts, and you're not expected to agree with them—and that's perfectly okay.
My goal isn't to tell you whether you should like a game. Instead, I try to explain what worked for me, what didn't, and who I think the game might appeal to.
Constructive discussion is always welcome, but please remember there's a real person behind these reviews. Respectful disagreements are encouraged; insults, hostility, or personal attacks are not.
What is Capybara Spa?
In this game you play as a capybara spa manager who builds little tubs to help the capybaras stay clean!
Quick Pros
✔ Addictive gameplay loop
✔ Satisfying progression system
✔ Easy to learn controls
✔ Deep gameplay systems
✔ High replayability
✔ Lots of content to explore
Quick Cons
✘ Repetitive gameplay
Initial Thoughts:
-"I love Capybaras and these ones are so muddy and cute."
-"Okay cool there is a way to somewhat automate this- I love that for me."
-"I CAN PUT TWO BABYS IN THE TUBS?"
Beginner Player Friendly?
Yes this game has a mobile esc to it and I can picture it being very beginner player friendly. There is a tutorial that will teach you how to play however the controls are just a point and click style of gaming.
Game Play:
In this game you are the manager of a little capybara spa. Your goal is to make money to buy more tubs for your capybaras. You also need to buy farms, upgrade your spas and decorate!
Graphics:
The graphics feel very mobile esc. They are simple cartoonish and friendly on the eyes aside from the brightness. I believe this game could run on lower end systems.
Community:
There isn't a large community but everyone seems friendly and active in the steam forums.
How long can you play?
I played mindlessly for around an hour while watching a movie and leveled up easily to level ten without even breaking the surface of everything this game has to offer. I would argue to fully complete the game it would take a few hours.
My Opinion:
In my opinion this game is perfect if you are looking for something to mindlessly play that is not to challenging on the mind.
