A strange signal… an alien craft… an interplanetary, gravity-defying journey through space and time.
On the anniversary of the Jupiter disaster, an alien signal transmits construction blueprints for an alien craft, which humanity builds, called Exo One.
Master a truly alien traversal system and move through enigmatic and desolate alien landscapes in ways you’ve never experienced. Control gravity itself and build momentum to reach colossal speeds and exhilarating heights.
Ride thermal updrafts into boiling cloud formations, careen down hillsides and launch off mountain tops, all the time drifting toward the shining blue beam on the horizon. Atmospheric, diffused visuals are merged with otherworldly sound effects and a hypnotic electric guitar soundtrack.
Pilot your craft on mankind’s first voyage outside the solar system, and go on an interplanetary journey across space and time.

A walking simulator if, instead of walking, you Tribes'd. There's a very serene flow state that you can enter once you've learned how to control your little marble/pancake. No real pressures or dangers, just good sights, sounds and game feel. Good for relaxing down from stress, or with a little weed.

Very immersive and visually stunning. I enjoy movies like Sunshine, Event Horizon, and 2001 Space Odyssey, this game brings those to mind. I highly recommend this game as well as the soundtrack, both are worth the buy. Here's hoping to a sequel or expansion!. Also this game does work great on the Steam Deck.

I feel like I understand my journey for life just a little bit more because of this game. A lot of people are gonna cringe at that, I dont really care.

First heard of this game from a small video essay youtuber called The Cursed Judge. The topic was about games with balls (featuring games like super monkey ball. I have no idea how this could be interpreted differently) and this was the last game mentioned in that video. I found it strange that while you do control a 'ball' in this game like the others, it felt weird to feature this game along the other games showcased. One day I saw this game for sale on steam for a reasonable price and figured I'd try the game for myself.
Generally this game consists of shifting the gravity of the ball to travel to the magnet beam and be launched to the next planet. Not sure if I explained that correctly but it's quite fun to master the mechanics. Each planet features a different environment in which you will learn and apply different mechanics. Sometimes worlds have lots of updraft for flying, some feature lots of water, some are cramped in space, and some give you all the space you want. The game's story was quite lost on me, but since the game is around 2 hours to beat I was able to enjoy it for the gameplay.
Overall if you like games like Journey, Flower, and Abzu, this game gives a similar vibe and is comparable to those games. I'd recommend this game for those who also enjoyed the games mentioned.

The loneliness of it all and distorted voices make it feel more like a horror. 37/10

One of the most beautiful gaming experiences I've had. Major props to the developer on the gameplay mechanics tying into the alien nature of the whole experience. Very well executed. The levels are gorgeous as well as the sound.
I would love a sequel so much. If not a sequel maybe add some more levels with replayability in mind.
