A strange signal… an alien craft… an interplanetary, gravity-defying journey through space and time.
On the anniversary of the Jupiter disaster, an alien signal transmits construction blueprints for an alien craft, which humanity builds, called Exo One.
Master a truly alien traversal system and move through enigmatic and desolate alien landscapes in ways you’ve never experienced. Control gravity itself and build momentum to reach colossal speeds and exhilarating heights.
Ride thermal updrafts into boiling cloud formations, careen down hillsides and launch off mountain tops, all the time drifting toward the shining blue beam on the horizon. Atmospheric, diffused visuals are merged with otherworldly sound effects and a hypnotic electric guitar soundtrack.
Pilot your craft on mankind’s first voyage outside the solar system, and go on an interplanetary journey across space and time.

A walking simulator if, instead of walking, you Tribes'd. There's a very serene flow state that you can enter once you've learned how to control your little marble/pancake. No real pressures or dangers, just good sights, sounds and game feel. Good for relaxing down from stress, or with a little weed.

My Jupiter flyer! that was not a GAME, it was an experience! and an amazing one at that!
the visuals,
the gameplay,
the sound,
and the story that i still try to figure out after just now finishing it the second time, right after i finished it the first time ever.
i wish for a continuation or something. more levels too.
that was the most brilliant 2-3 hours i had in a long time. smile on my face the whole time.
could not get enough.
thank you Developers. thank you very much for that present of an *experience! NOT a game.
wow.

I feel like I understand my journey for life just a little bit more because of this game. A lot of people are gonna cringe at that, I dont really care.

One of the most beautiful gaming experiences I've had. Major props to the developer on the gameplay mechanics tying into the alien nature of the whole experience. Very well executed. The levels are gorgeous as well as the sound.
I would love a sequel so much. If not a sequel maybe add some more levels with replayability in mind.

As an alien ball, use your gravity changing powers to surf on terrain, air currents, and even liquid waves, in this beautiful game.
Works perfectly on my Steam Deck (at least so far, I haven t finished the game yet). The "Unsupported" label seems to be outdated.
edit: Welp, that came faster than I expected, can confirm that all the way to the credits it was trouble-free and hit 60FPS most of the time and I don t remember noticing it ever going bellow 40 on the rare times the FPS did drop. Definitely still recommended, though maybe it might be more enjoyable if you take your time instead of binging all the levels like I did.

I really like the idea and visuals of Exo One, but I think the execution might be a bit too sloppy to recommend it without clarification. When it works it's amazing, the speed and momentum is done really well and makes you feel amazing, and that's why I don't want to leave a bad recommendation.
However, be wary that you're going to feel frustrated sometimes because of the level design, having lost speed without any way to quickly recover it or just the levels being too long without variance, and that's going to happen more than once or twice in a 3 hour game.

Such a wonderfully relaxing and atmospheric game that never ceases to inspire awe at it's cosmic setting.
Strongly recommend for anyone who enjoys interstellar themes and simple but satisfying gameplay.
