I’m a solo developer and I sought out to create a universe that can have new stories overtime. Almost like new issues of a comic book. I make new episodes and content as I can. You can check out all the issues I have added and plan to add below. Supporting the game helps me create new addons for the game. All future addons are free for owners of Apastron.
Out Right Now!:
Ep1. Nation of Apathy
Ep2. Universe of Sin
Ep3. Time of Crisis
Gamemode : Macrocosm Event
Side Quest : Infiltration #1

Interesting level design, fantastic soundtrack and frantic shooting when in the thick of it. Visit hub worlds to continue the story. Play the other games by the same dev to get bonus understanding of the characters and lore.

The effort made and put into Apastron (especially from a one man developer) is pretty admirable. Here you have what amounts to the first episode (about 2 to 2-1/2 hours of game) of a unique world peopled by an oppressive corporation and the resistance that would oppose them.
While the game has its 'open' moments, the structure is indeed Episode 1: Level 1 in structure and it does proceed normally, that is to say, completely linearly. There is a bit of down time between missions but that is mostly used exploring the small hub town and speaking to the denizens about their day-to-day and their individual goings-on and to collect some currency and spend it at the weapon-shop.
One of the unique things in this game is that you may only carry 2 weapons at any one time and they are also infinite in ammo, only requiring a reload from you when they run dry. Every weapon does have its own feel and you will surely find your favourites early on and will be keeping them with you for the bulk of the adventure -- replacing them whenever better versions or prospects arise. Almost always these are static sprites that are then animated and transformed and I must say that this effect grew on me as I played and I became endeared to it. The designer was really able to milk a lot of personality out of the weapon sprites and thus the feel of the guns for such an indie-title.
Overall I would absolutely recommend this if this sort of graphical style doesn't put you off at all and you are looking to support an indie-developer who clearly has more that they want to do with this title. I really look forward to seeing more of this game and their future projects!

Excellent Cyberpunk shooter with minecraft art style.
There was a lot of work put into this title even though the map can be confusing at times and some of the music annoying.

A 'boomer shooter' that entered production before boomer shooters were a thing that consists of %50 great mechanics and ideas and %50 baffling ideas that make no sense. The end result is a good, but not great experience that's so wacky and janky that it deserves to be experienced. The fact that this isn't more popular considering the amount of crappy boomer shooters that make the rounds is criminal. I only wish the developer finds his audience someday.

This game is really charming. When I started I felt that it was really undercooked, but 4 hours in it gets my motor going. It's gives a retro feel, like PS1-era game design. I wish the plot was easier to understand, but otherwise very solid.
