Lachesis or Atropos

You play as a detective fulfilling the will of their late friend, who couldn’t complete their goal. I liked the main gimmick of being able to see black strings of hatred, especially considering how it evolves near the end of the story with the way our powers are basically a downgrade of the priestesses’ ones, unable to see the full world of strings despite it existing.
Shiki is my favourite, but getting her true ending was quite tricky and unclear in a blind run. I liked learning about the concept of this world; it was really immersive, and learning more and more about the Stringless God made me fall in love with the story bit by bit. Investigating the secrets of the family that rules the shrine was also really interesting.
I would’ve loved to learn more about the Keeper, but I guess it was enough information for a monster. The story is straightforward and introduces the lore well, revealing it bit by bit, just enough to keep you invested. Every detail I was curious about was eventually revealed through different storylines too, for example the sensation of having your strings cut.
Definitely recommending it, it felt worth a read.

very odd and the incest backstory really should be in the content warnings, but its a cute game. the story and the art is scary, but the music prevents some horror scenes from being as tense as they probably should be.

It is an ok VN the only problem i have is that the endings feels a little rushed and incomplete.

Really interesting premise with lots of ways to die. Recommended.
