Werewolves shooting fireballs at each other!
Lupinball is a hilariously hectic 2-to-4-player deathmatch, which starts out like dodgeball but slowly becomes a bullet hell. Power up and blast your foes in their fuzzy faces, but here’s the key: fireballs zoom around the arena forever, bouncing off walls and speeding up over time. The arena gets insanely chaotic in seconds, as everyone shoots more and more and more fireballs! Last wolf standing wins.
Which fluffy fighter will be the survivor among the fiery doom?
Join the official Lupinball Discord server! fast, frantic, four-player flurry of fur… locally or online!
- Power up, then smash your enemies in the face with magic fireballs! As wolves!
- Local and online multiplayer, with full Steamworks integration! Build up wins and earn a place on the Leaderboard!
- Awesome, catchy soundtrack from the one and only Fox Amoore!
- Use a shield that reflects enemy shots and stuns enemy wolves, adding further depth and strategy!
- Every stage is an absurd theme that affects the gameplay, such as a dark haunted house, a farm with gale-force winds, or a warehouse with pits of fire!
- Break open item crates! You can block everyone else from powering up, teleport around the map, or even flip the screen upside down!
- A single-player score attack mode, with Leaderboard! How many points can you attain?
- Streamers: our Twitch extension (in the Muxy Overlay) provides a live scoreboard and lets viewers vote for their favorite player in real-time!

Often simple games prove to be the best games.
A good example is Lupinball. It's setup is wonderfully simplistic, it is easily understandable so anyone is able to play within seconds. 4-player doge-ball anyone?
First you have to collect 3 randomly spawning orbs to charge up a fireball. Then you shoot the fireball at your friends. Any hit is deadly, even from your own fireball.
The speciality is this: If you miss, the fireball does not disappear, but bounces around the screen (until someone is hit by it). You can now collect three orbs again and shoot another fireball. Very soon the screen is full of fireballs bouncing around!
Simple? Yes!
Fun? LOTS OF!!!
Different stages, some spawning boxes with different extras and the ability to use your orbs to power up a shield add some variety. The game also has a certain charm with its retro-style graphic, quirky characters and funny loading-screen tips!
Lupinball plays great with only two players, something that cannot be said about all single-screen 4-player games. But for the full mayhem, play it with 4 players!
Lupinball can be enjoyed by both local and online players. Best way to find online players is Lupinball's discord server. Single player is possible... but not recommended.
Game worked fine with 4 Xbox One controllers.
Conclusion:
Perfect ‘pick up and play‘ party game for 4 players!

I am the artist of the game, which is ironic, because I have not done any art for my profile picture. But I digress.
This game has been interesting through and through development. What we can do, what we can't do. What we have time to do. What we had to sacrifice in content to make the game look good.
It wasn't easy, but all the same, I still think I could add more. For a team of two people who already have other full-time commitments, it's a huge drain on us, but we loved doing this.
The game is slick, the controls are tight, and we honestly put a lot of time in testing to make sure it felt right. And here it is... a really well thought-out couch game that's playable over the internet with very simple and intuitive controls, yet enough variety that people can get the hang of it.
All in all... I would love people to play the game more often. It's been an amazingly wild ride and I want to hear what people think of it, the good and the bad.

Simple, Basic, Fun
I would totally recommend this to anyone with a few friends who just want to have a bunch of stupid fun. This game doesn't take you on an adventure, it's not trying to be an experience, but what it is is just pure fun. The controls are tight and easy to learn; move with the analog stick, A to shoot fireballs, and B to generate shields... That's it. The multitude of "on pick up use" power ups and differing stage layouts gives a lot of diversity that is fun to revisit time and again.
My only cons with the game is that there is a single player mode, but it's just a "Try to beat the high score" gameplay I'm not a huge fan of, and I'd like to see a wider variety of characters and stages added over time. I know there's only so many colors available to make each fireball unique from another player's, but, perhaps, two toned or multicolored fireballs? And I'd like there to be a option to exclude certain stages from random selection. As fun as the game is there is a stage or two I don't, personally, like. Also a pause menu when playing online with friends (not necessarily with randos).
Those very minor gripes aside, I still think this game is worth your time and it's cheap enough that it's an easy impulse buy. It was made by a small group of people and I think this project was successful, even if I'd like to see certain things added in via patches in future. Give this game a shot.

I have never hated a game so well, it is beatifully annoying and hits me in all the correct nerves to piss me off. I had a blast raging at this game that I hate to love. You will enjoy all the time you spend playing this, till you eventually spike a controller through a wall.

Seriously though I do love this game, and I recommend it to all player, pro and casual. You'll have a blast and it's great with friends. Developers are responsive and content is unique and enjoyable. The maps detail and sillyness make it a game I can play everyday. Thanks for this gem, have a good one! ^^

I would absolutely recommend this game to those who enjoy fast paced fun with friends all bunled up in cute pixel art with anthro wolves. My friend linked me to the game just yesterday and after watching him play some of it, I decided I too really wanted the game. It is ideal to play with friends, and the single player is like an arcade style game where the only objcetive is to beat your own high score. That mode does become very repetitive after a while, though.
However, with friends this game is so much fun. I can't stop laughing when I play, because it's just fun to be running around in the enclosed arenas and accidentally being hit by or hitting friends with the fireballs.
The only cons regarding the game would have to be the lack of playability for single player and the inability to play it on my Linux device. I have Ubuntu and I can't play it on that. I anxiously await for a Linux port, I desperately hope it happens.
Super addictive and fun, full of laughs, at least for me! Please port to Linux!!!

You've got different colored wolves with corresponding bouncing fireballs you fire all over the map to kill your friends. It's kind of a multiplayer competitive bullet hell. I think it says a lot that a bunch of us at TwitchCon 2017 took time away from everything else to come over and play this repeatedly. It's a fun multiplayer party game that is easy to pick up. I've been trying to get more people to play with, really. It's the kind of game you play with your friends with a couple of beers.

i played this at PAX south and was also a bug tester in the beta, and it's held up as a good little party game both times! you can pretty much just jump right in and play with whoever you want, and there's no real "gap" between first-time players and folks that have been playing for a while.
