broken characters, sidestep doesn't work and load times are unbearable, but at least it's not tekken 8, also it has bowling.

I honestly only play it for the bowling. When on sale this is one of the cheapest and best bowling games on steam

With Tekken 8 already out, why can't you just release an update where everyone with Tekken 7 will have all the characters unlocked and just stick to one edition which is the Definitive? You know those with Original characters have been with you from the start so a little incentive would be appreciated by your fans/users. Enough with your attempts to milk more from players who know nothing of this game. Let's celebrate Tekken 7 by letting everyone have all characters, new and old!

Just came back to Tekken7 after Tekken8 showed me what true disappointment looks like - and it feels like I’ve been upgraded to a real fighting game again.

This game has its own flaws and isn't perfect by any means, but it's the last and best Tekken game you can play.

Tekken 7: The Older, Hotter Sibling
I started with Tekken 8, thinking it would be the obvious choice. It wasn’t. Between the clunky Avatar hub, bloated features, strange roster and my PC nearly passing out on medium settings, I started questioning everything.
Out of curiosity (and disappointment), I picked up Tekken 7—and it just clicked. Fast, clean, no gimmicky Avatar nonsense. Akuma is here throwing fireballs like it’s Street Fighter (Love it), Lei is back doing Jackie Chan things (even if he’s DLC), and the game actually runs like it respects my hardware. UE4 > UE5
Story? Seemed to be rather interesting. Ranked? Actually playable.
Only a few hours in, and it already feels like the smarter purchase..
Moral of the story: skip the shiny mess, play the classic banger. Tekken 7 > Tekken 8. Fight me.

Greatest Tekken game of all time. Had a low budget but a dedicated and passionate team working on it that understood the game. This game has Character Identity and Skill expression that the new Tekken 8 doesn't have at all. I remember watching blasted salami's video on Character traits and that alone got me so excited for the game, watching pro players do stuff that was almost impossible for regular players and especially character specialists playing a character in a unique way was a treat to watch. The only thing that made fans salty towards the end of this game was again, Greed. They added intentionally overpowered DLCs that they would fix a few patches later to maximise profit. This game was not perfect, it had flaws, for example Akuma but even that was such a bold decision, including a 2d character into a 3d game and if they had done a better job at balancing him it would've been great. Still wasn't as bad as people made it out to be as Akuma was kinda balanced because of how difficult he was to play, that is why we saw so few people playing and doing well with Akuma in tournaments. After seeing the direction that they are taking Tekken 8 in, I have no intention of going back to it, hoping more people come back to this masterpiece so we can play some good ass Tekken.
